Ambrosia POV I was unable to make myself relax for the rest of the night. Francis had said he’d take care of convincing the elders, and I just needed to make a good impression on the curse-breaking crew. He’d made an off-putting joke about them inflicting curses “on accident” to those that were rude. Beckett fetched us first thing in the morning, taking us down to the first floor, where they had a bagel buffet for coven members. Elijah helped himself to an everything bagel smeared with far too much cream cheese, and I accepted a cinnamon raisin bagel with a far more appropriate level of the creamy spread.
