The rain continues to pour as Ava stands frozen between Ethan and Damian.
Ethan takes another step toward her.
"Ava... please. Just give me five minutes."
His voice is filled with desperation.
For years, hearing him plead like this would have softened her heart.

It only reminds her of the betrayal.
She slowly shakes her head.
"I have nothing left to hear."
Ethan's face pales.
"I made a mistake."
"You made a choice," Ava replies quietly.
"And you made it with my sister."
The words hit harder than any slap.
The street falls silent except for the sound of the rain.

Damian watches the exchange without interrupting.

"She said no."

"I know how to respect her answer."
Ethan's jaw tightens.
"You don't even know her."
Damian glances at Ava.
"I don't need to know someone to recognize when they're hurting."

She opens it.
Her blood runs cold.
> "You stole what belongs to me. This is only the beginning."
Ava's hands begin to shake.
She slowly looks up at Damian...
Unaware that someone has already started watching them.
