After stepping outside and realizing Oscar was nowhere to be seen, Grace quickly dialed her mother's number. "Mom, where are you?"
Grace's mother was wandering around the mall, searching for her daughter. "We're near the entrance. Where are you?"
"Just wait for me at the entrance, don't go anywhere." She hung up and hurried to meet them. Once she spotted her parents, she grabbed them and headed out.
Her mother looked puzzled. "What's the rush?"
"It's almost noon. Let's go grab some lunch. I've been craving the food from that old place." Grace made up an excuse to brush off her mother's concerns and led her parents out of the mall.
