Angela's POV
It's already dinner time. Mom and dad told me to eat with them because Erish might be late, but I told them that I would be waiting for him and they nodded with smiles. After finishing their dinner, they went to their bedroom.
I just sat at the dinner table and started scrolling through the mobile.
Suddenly, my phone vibrated and Erish's name popped up on the screen. I opened the message excitedly and read his text where he told me that he would be busy with work and not be able to come home tonight.
After reading that, all my enthusiasm disappeared. But I did not want to bother or disappoint him. So, I just text him back cheerfully and write to him that I can understand his work is important and that he can continue his work after eating his food on time.
