My face grew grave as I recollected Chloe's explanation about Raymond's intention. I had initially had plans on telling Raymond about it, but on a second thought, I had no evidence.
Arthur was a cunning and scheming fellow, he would definitely have a trump card, he might even shift all the blame on me.
Moreover, Raymond and Arthur were long-term friends, a simple and baseless accusation would only make Raymond suspect me regardless of the mate bond.
So, I had decided to lie low and gather evidence against Arthur, enough evidence to make Raymond see that Arthur could no longer be trusted.
