At the council meeting…
"My Lord, It remains unclear what the rogues are up to this time. There has been no movement from their side in more than a week." My head of warriors, Mathew, reported, and my brows scrunched up into a frown.
For their activity to suddenly cease, is not simple.
"Do not stop monitoring them," I uttered icily. "Make sure there are enough warriors situated at the borders, and increase the number of the patrol guards. We must not give them any leeway for a surprise attack."
