Raymond POV
I left the room, just in time to see the Elders, draped in bright long robes, storming over while ignoring the people around them.
Their expression bore a mixture of urgency and accusation, I could also see the hint of determination on their faces, a sign that they must have made a decision that was definitely not to my advantage.
But, I was no longer worried.
The Elder in lead, Elder Bernard began, "Alpha, the Elders' council has arrived at a conclusion."
I c****d my brow in intrigue, "Oh, what might that be?"
Elder Bernard choked as though taken aback by my response. The Other Elders exchanged glances between themselves, and I found their expressions comical.
Elder Bernard hesitated for a while, but still voiced out, "The people have started blaming us,
