Looking For The Second Mate!

(Ulva POV)
I stare at Ralph because I don't even know what to say. The question was unexpected. He didn't even stare at me, he didn't mind my reply to his father.
"He's my mate, I just had to accept him" I said.
I saw his father smirking. I lowered my gaze and stared at my food. I hope I didn't say anything bad.
"I'm glad you didn't reject him and he didn't reject you" he said. I smiled in reply. My head was totally blank and no words could come out from my mouth. All I wished for was to go home to my harsh family, it's better than staying with a cold blooded alpha.
A man walked into the dinning room and whispered some words into his ear.
His father nodded and sipped some water from his glass. He wiped his mouth and stood up.
"I've seen your luna and I must say, I'm impressed. Your party would be after three full moons" he said and left.
"Thanks father" he said.
At least, his father could smile but he never even smirk.
Ralph saw his father as he left. Aspen walked towards us.
"Congratulations master" he said. I stood up.
"Can I leave now?" That was the first thing that could escape my lips.
"Take her home and remember what I said" he said to Aspen. Aspen nodded.
"Let's go Ulva" he said. He helped me out of the dinning room. I got into the car, forgetting to change her dress. She got into the Jeep and head back home.
"Are you really scared of Ralph?" I heard Aspen asking me. I raised my head and adjusted my hair.
"Yeah, I am" I just had to admit. I was really scared of Ralph. I've heard about him from Dolph and the others at the market.
"What about me?" He asked me. I gave a silent chuckle.
"Not really, just a little because you're with Ralph" I said.
He smiled at me. Then the car stopped. He helped me out and walked me to the door.
He knocked the door. I couldn't wait to see my step mother and the look on her face. The door flung open. It was Eva. She saw Aspen and adjusted her hair, licking her lower lips.
"Hi" she said in a low tone. She didn't even recognize me. Seem like I was wearing too much makeup.
"Who is it?" I heard my step mother's voice from inside. She walked out with Mia.
"Hello there, come in" she said also.
I rolled my eyes.
"Bye Aspen" I said and shoved them aside, walking into the house. They stared at me as I walked in, that was when they knew it was me.
"We borrowed Ulva for some hours, hope you don't mind" Aspen said.
"No, of course not. But, who did?" She asked to be sure or what she heard.
"Ralph Manchester" he replied. I was in the kitchen, pouring some water into a cup when I heard his full name. My hand shook. I remembered when he made me feed on that poor animal. He made me thirty for blood and i hope I don't do that again. I shook the thought from my head.
"Ralph? You mean, the Alpha?" My mom asked to be sure again. Aspen nodded. Mia and Eva turned their head to stare at me. Aspen also stared at me and watched as I walked into the store room. His face changed when he saw my little cloth that I use to sleep on. I quickly closed the door and sat on the floor. I scattered my hair and slipped my finger into it.
I couldn't wait for my step sisters to come, fight for my dress. I didn't even take my other dress back.
"Oh sh!t!" I murmured and wanted to run out. But it was too late. Aspen left already. Mia sighted my dress and gasped.
"Oh my gosh! Mom!" She yelled.
"What is it Mia?"
"I want Ulva's dress" she said. My step mom also stared at the dress from head to toe. She also liked it.
"I'm the eldest, so, I'll be wearing it" Eva said.
"I saw it first" Mia fired.
"But I'm the eldest and I get what I want, whenever I want it"
"Mom?"
"Be quiet you two!" She yelled at them. I just stood, watching them.
"She's not giving any of you the dress. I have no idea what Ralph would do to any of you if he finds you wearing it. Dresses like this are made for royals" she said.
I stared at the dress myself. I felt like a royal.
"Hurry, make lunch for us. I haven't eaten any good food since yesterday. I've been eating burnt offering" my mom said and walked away. Eva frowned.
"I tried my best" she said. Well, mom was right. She was a bad cook.
"I want a dress like that mom!" Mia cried and walked away. I hated the way my step siblings acted like children. Mom pampered them too much. I recollected when Ralph called me a child. I sulked and walked away.
(Aspen POV)
Ralph was in his room, smoking. I walked into the room since he never closes his door.
"Ulva is the daughter of late Alpha Conri" I said. He stopped smoking and turned to face me.
"Conri? Dad killed him years back" he said.
"Yeah, that's his only surviving child. He got married after his wife got poisoned"
"Ulva is his surviving child" he murmured. That was the only thing he grabbed.
"Yeah" I said again, slowly. He stood up and walked towards his balcony.
"Is everything alright master?" I asked, walking behind him.
"Yes, it is. Dad thinks she's my luna. So I'll have to get her"
"How do we get her master? What if she doesn't want to be your fake mate?" I asked.
"No one says no to me" he said. I nodded.
(Ulva POV)
"Wait,what???" Dolph yelled after I told him what happened at Ralph's mansion.
"Shhh, keep it down" I said.
"I can't believe you saw him face to face, you also spent a night in his house" he said.
"I never expected it but, here is it. And trust me, there's no way I'm gonna see him again" I rolled my eyes.
"He made..."
"Mate, mate" Marie said. My heart started beating fast when I heard Marie's voice.
"Where?" I asked.
"Where what?" Dolph thought I was talking to him.
"Outside" she said. I ran outside, leaving Dolph. He also followed me behind.
I threw the doors opened, looked left and right. There were a lot of people walking around. I could tell who was my mate.
"Which way Marie?" I asked her but she didn't say any word to me again.
"What happened?" Dolph asked me.
"I... It's nothing. Let's just go back" I said.
"You should head home now. Your step mother could be looking for you" Dolph said.
"Sure. Bye" I said. He hugged me tightly and I quickly left.
(Aspen POV)
I got out of the Jeep to smoke my stress out. As I puffed out the smoke, I saw Ulva from distance, hugging someone. She walked away while he walked into the store back.
"Who's that?" I asked myself. I have to find out" I murmured and threw my cigarette away. I walked into the store.
"What can I get you please?" A young boy asked. I could tell he's about twenty four.
"Who's the girl who just left here?" I asked. He stared at me in reply, giving me a confused look.
"You're the one" he said.
"Do you know me?" I asked.
"You killed that man in the bar that day" he said. I remembered the day, I pursued the one who betrayed Ralph and killed him in the bar.
"Yes, it's me. So answer me, who is she?" I said, making him scared of me.
"She's Ulva" he said.
"Who is she to you?" I asked.
"Did Ralph send you to ask me?" He asked. I groaned in frustration.
"Answer me already!" I banged my hands on the table and growled angrily. He became frightened and shook with fear.
"She's my best friend" he quickly said. I heard that and sighed. I actually thought it was something more than that. I smiled weirdly.
"Bye" I simply said and left the store. He placed his hand on his chest and leaned on the table before him.
I got out of the store and walked back to the Jeep.
"Let's go" i ordered the driver.
I don't understand why and how I was having something for Ulva. Probably because, I've seen her somewhere before. Yes, I remembered. I saw her that night, at the bar. She stared at me before leaving that place.
"She must have seen me killing that betrayal. F*ck!" I groaned again. Today was just a bad day for me.
