(Ulva POV)
When it was morning, I was back to my daily activities. I was so tired and hurt after running yesterday like a mad wolf. I also saw a person die right before me. It was the worst birthday of my life. First, my cake got smashed. Second, my beautiful gown got torn. Third, I rejected my mate. Fourth, I was starved for the whole day. I didn't even want to mention the remaining part. It's just so hard. I admit, yesterday was the worst birthday of my life.
Eva walked into the kitchen and sat down. I was so deep in thought that I didn't know when she walked in. She was staring at me, waiting for me to serve her and also greet her.
"Hey!" She yelled. Her loud voice brought me back to reality.
"Oh, good morning Eva" I said. She rolled her eyes and leaned back on the chair. That was when my step mother and Mia walked in. They sat down and I served them their meals.
"Mom, are we going to stay here forever?" Mia asked her mother as they ate. I just stood at the corner. I dare not leave. I was there as a maid and not a family.
"Don't ask me any silly questions now. Eat and be silent" she said. Mia got pissed off. She dug into her food.
"Well, I'm going out with someone today mother" Eva said.
"With who? Found a mate yet?" She asked.
"No, I think the moon goddess has been too harsh on us" she said to her mother.
"Whatever, be home before dinner" she said.
Eva was happy.
"And take Ulva with you" she said.
"What? Why should I?" Eva yelled.
"I want to be sure you are safe. Incase you are about to die, she would die for you" her mother explained. I secretly rolled my eyes.
"Argh! She can't follow me dressed like that. I hate the idea mom, now I have to lend her my dress. F*ck!" Eva said and left the dinning room.
"Go have a shower Ulva, you'll be following her" she said to me. I nodded and left to the bathroom.

"What about me?" Mia asked.
"We have to find you a suitor. You are the youngest and I know it will be easy for you to find someone" she said. Mia groaned. She knew today won't be fun for her at all.
(Eva POV)
I was with my boyfriend, Tim. We were leaning on his car, kissing. I turned my head and saw Ulva staring at us. I was uncomfortable.
"Can you look away?" I asked, yelling at her.
"Mom asked me to protect you" she replied me. I rolled my eyes and walked towards her.
"You don't have to send her away. Let her watch" Tim said.
"No, I don't want her to. You can wander around. Just be back here before it's late" she said to me.
"Don't trust her. She would blackmail you" Marie said to Ulva. She smirked. Marie was right, they always look for chances to put her in various trouble.
"You don't have to worry, I will wait here but won't stare at you" she said. I groaned again. I hated the fact that mom asked her to follow me here.
"Please Ulva, just for an hour. I need some privacy with Tim" I said. She nodded and left.
I watched her as she left.
"Fool" I murmured and walked back to Tim.
"Let's get into the car" he said to me. I nodded and we pushed ourselves into his car.
(Mia POV)
Walking with mom was one thing I hated, how on earth is she gonna find me a suitor by walking around. It was so dumb.
"Mom, can I leave?" I asked her. She shot me a hard glare making me to shut my mouth.
"Just walk away already" my wolf said to me. As my mom was staring at some bead, I sneakily left.
"What do you think about... Mia? Mia?" She looked round, looking for me.

I was running away from her till I got to an open space. I stopped and sighed deeply. It was time for me to walk alone.
I adjusted my hair, trying to walk seductively. I saw some men staring at me. I waved at them. They signalled me to come. I nodded. As I was about to take a step, a hand grabbed me from behind. I turned and saw it was my mom.
This was why I never run away from her. It was so easy to trace me back.
"You are crazy Mia"
"I'm sorry mom. Let me find just find my mate myself" I said to her. She still didn't let me go. She kept pulling me.
(Ulva POV)
I was walking by the road. I hated the way some people were staring at me like I was a queen. I scoffed. Well, I was a queen in my own world. I just wished my mom was around. I wished I found Boris Star again. I never knew where he came from but I needed to find him. If I accept my mate, my step mother can't order my around when I'm with him. I was a fool to have rejected him.
As I was thinking about my step mother, I saw her pulling Mia from distance.
"F*ck!" I murmured and turned. I picked up the pace and started running away from her. I didn't want her to see her alone. She would so question me about Eva and also beat me up in the street. She has done it before. I don't want to talk about it now. What I wanted was to run away from her.
I passed through some other building and ran into a street.
Suddenly, a car hit me.
(Aspen POV)
"Hey, pass me the cigarette" Aspen said to the beta driving the car.
"I can't. It's in my back pocket" he said, focusing on the road.
"The road is f*cking empty, just give it to me" I yelled at him. He sighs and tried to reach it. He had to look down at his pocket to make sure he was checking the right place.
"Hey, watch out!" I yelled. But it was too late. He had already hit the girl running.
"Jeez, can't you watch?" I yelled at him as I alight from the car.
"I told you I couldn't reach the...argh, no need talking to you a**hole" he mumbled under his breath.
I slowly walked towards the girl. I squatted in front of her and reached for her shoulders. She quickly sat up, frightening me.
"Oh jeez, you scared me" I said. She turned and face me.
"I'm sorry" she murmured.
"No, I'm sorry. We weren't watching carefully" I said, staring at her wound.
"You're badly injured. Come with us, let me compensate you" I said, pointing at the car. She stood up and stared at the car.
"No, I'll be fine" she said. I shot my eyes open when I saw that her wounds were already healed. I wanted to touch her forehead to be sure it was gone but I couldn't.
"It's..."
"I have to go" she said and continued running.
"Wait, I don't even know your name!" I yelled but she didn't even stop. She kept running. I wondered who was after her.
I went back to the car and we drove to Ralph's mansion.
(Ralph POV)
I heard the doorbell and left my comfort zone. I walked to the door and saw Aspen.
"Come in" I said to him and went back to my chair.
Aspen stood beside me like a statue.
"Any news?" I asked him.
"Not yet. I'm still looking for a perfect luna for you" he said.
"She doesn't have to be perfect. I just need a luna" I said, trying not to get mad. He nodded.
"Well, your cousin is in town and..."
"Which of them?" I interrupted.
"Boris Star" he said.
"Oh nice, why is he here?" I asked. I stretched my hand towards the glass of alcohol beside me and sipped from it.
"He came to find his mate. Well, he did but she rejected him" he said. I smirked. I love that word rejected.
"That's so pitiful. But no one rejects my little cousin. Find out about the girl who rejected him and bring her to me. She'll be punished for that"
"What if it isn't her..."
"Do as I said Aspen. Find her and bring her to me tonight!!" I yelled.
"Sure master" he said and left.
I sipped from the glass again. Boris was my favorite cousin out of all of them. My family tree is so huge, I don't even know some of my relatives name. I don't care of it's Boris that rejected her but she has no right to reject him.
"Oh, you'll pay for rejecting my cousin" I murmured.
