CHAPTER 5.

I woke up to someone knocking on my door . I didn't want to wake up because I don't have to go to work today .I got up and went to the door and opened it . Four women stood at the door with three suitcases and three boxes . I was about to send them away when one of them spoke .

-Good morning ma'am. Your boss sent us here . - why would he do that? My phone just started ringing and he was calling me .

I picked it up and wanted to speak, but he did it sooner .

- Those women are at your door to help you get ready for the evening . They will do your hair and make-up, trust them yourself, they are professional . Oh and you see those boxes, I bought you a dress ,heels and a bag .- his voice was calm and encouraging .But I am confused, why did he do this?

-Thank you very much, but it really wasn't necessary. - My voice was shocked , I was happy but confused at the same time .It must have been expensive . I don't want him to spend money on me ...

- Your voice doesn't sound happy ..you don't like the dress? We can buy another one . - this man doesn't even know what he's doing to me....how can someone be so perfect and caring ....

-I'm sorry, I'm very happy I was......I was just surprised . Please don't spend more money on me, you can deduct the price of all this from my salary .- if one salary is enough for this at all .....I heard him laugh a little and he sighed .

- Don't worry about money Amelia , the only thing you have to worry about is getting ready on time and looking pretty all night.....which is easy for you .- Well, that made my heart skip a beat . And did he just called me pretty ? I think he did . If I could, I would have screamed for joy .

- Thanks . -I couldn't say anything, but I think he heard in my voice how grateful I was for all of this .

I let the ladies in and they worked on me all day . They did my hair and makeup .Everything was so pretty . I really liked what they turned me into .

When I opened the box and saw the dress I was amazed ...it was so beautiful .

I took it out of the box, it was an ocean blue long silk dress with an open back .I couldn't wait to try it on !!

It's time to get dressed and go downstairs to my apartment . He should be here soon .

The dress clung to my body so beautifully as if it had been cast on me . I felt very pretty and I was soo nervous at the same time. We will pretend everything nothing special will happen ....Still, I want it so bad to be next to him all night . Even if nothing is true.

I heard the sound of his car, so I left my room . He stood there watching me walk up to him .He was wearing all black. It looks so good on him . His hair was slicked back .His face is so perfect .

I saw a smirk on his face as I walked up to him .

- I knew this dress would look good on you . - he said almost in a whisper .

- You knew , how come ?- Tonight I will be bolder with my words ... he is my boyfriend after all .

-My intuition is always good ... You ready?- he held out his hand and I took it .The driver opened the door for us, so we got into the car and drove off .

-Are you nervous ? - he asked as he raised an eyebrow .

- I am, I've never been in a place like this before. - he put one hand on my thigh and looked deep into my eyes .

-You don't have to worry, you'll be with me , I won't leave you alone . Just play along and you'll be fine . - his soft voice calmed me and I didn't understand why. He's the reason I'm nervous , not the place .

The car stopped in front of a very expensive building . The driver opened the door for us, he got out and helped me out too .

He looked at me with an encouraging smile, grabbed my waist and we started for the entrance. His hands were cold, but he radiated calmness in my body.

When we entered, it was a huge room and it was full of damn rich people.

I don't know how I should behave, but I won't talk much beacause I don't want to ruin anything.

We approached a group of people who just looked at us and smiled at us .

I did the same . When we got there, they greeted us and introduced themselves to me and I to them.

- Anthony, you didn't say that your girlfriend is that pretty .- one of the girls said and looked at me . She was beautiful, they must be friends because she called him by his name . I didn't say anything, I just smiled and held onto his strong arm .

He looked at me and smiled .I don't think these smiles are real .

One of the men came closer to us and took a good look at me .

- So how long have you guys been together? - oh no, we didn't discuss these things . I waited for him to speak first because I don't want to say something that would betray us .

- These things are none of your business, our relationship is private .- I didn't think he could be so direct. The man looked at me and smiled then looked back at Anthony.

-I'm sorry, but I didn't expect you to have a partner for tonight ....This is unusual from you .-So he doesn't usually bring anyone with him ....and he brought me with him .I have to remind myself that he did it for the money not because of me.

- I want everyone to know about us, I'm serious about Amelia, I brought her with me so that everyone can see her by my side.- He took one of my hands and blew a kiss on the top of my hands . If I could, I would pass out right now.

A very tall man approached us with a serious face .He kinda looked like Anthony.

- Son, I'm glad you came .- Son? He would be his father ? It seems so ...

Anthony's face was cold, colder than before . Maybe he doesn't like his father?

- You know why I'm here, can we talk? -He didn't sound happy that he had to talk to him. I just stood there and waited .Anthony looked at me and grabbed my shoulder .

- I have to leave you for a moment, love .

Wait for me here and I will be back soon.- He planted a kiss on my cheek and he went with his father . I know it's not real but the way he does it is so breathtaking .The way he called me love and the way he kissed me ...I'm going to have a hard time recovering from this when we get back to the office .

I stood there with that group of people and just smiled nervously every time one of them looked at me .I didn't know what to say or do .One of them leaned towards me and started whispering, it was a beautiful blonde haired girl .

- Anthony used to be mean to you too?Because he is very mean to all women and I wad just asking because I'm curious.-He's a devil with me, but I can't say that now .

- Umm...Well, in the beginning, he was a little like that .-I didn't want to share anything more than necessary .I smiled nervously and she just nodded .

I've been standing here for twenty minutes and he still hasn't come back . Since I didn't want to be asked more questions, I went to the bathroom . I had to go through a hallway when I got to the end, he was standing there, and he's looking at me .He was so hot . I started towards him .

- Anthony ? Where have you be....-I couldn't finish because he grabbed my waist with one hand and my face with the other. He pushed me against the wall and our faces were so close to each other that our lips almost touched .I put my hand on his chest and wanted to push him back a little, but he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer .His hips pressed hard against mine. He raised my head so he could look into my eyes, and then pressed his lips to mine .I couldn't speak in the heat of the moment, but maybe I didn't want to ....

He stopped and stepped back , he gasped and just looked at me .

I wanted more and I saw it on him too .But this is not the right place and time .

- I shouldn't have done that .....-it's too late to say that . Could he have regretted it already?

-We didn't do anything wrong Anthony , why did you say t...... -before I could say it, his body was pressed against mine and his head was on my neck.Gasping for air, he brushed his lips against my neck and I was under his influence again.

-Don't say my name Amelia .... if you don't want me to destroy you here right now .- a part of my body wanted exactly this, and the other was so confused that I couldn't think straight . It felt so good that he was so close to me, but I couldn't let this go on .I pushed him back and straightened my dress .

- This won't happen again , I'm sorry ....-It wasn't any of our fault, but it just happened in the heat of the moment....it didn't make any sense .

- If I hadn't made you wait so long, it wouldn't have happened .....Sorry . -His voice was soft and husky.

-I went to the bathroom, not to look for you so don't apologize . - My head was down because I couldn't look at him .He cleared his throat and looked at me .

-I'll wait for you here, and then we can go home. -I nodded and went into the bathroom. I adjusted my makeup and just looked at myself in the mirror and tried to forget what just happened .I was confused, I don't know how I will be able to work .

When I stepped out , he was standing there and held out his hand for me to hold .I took it and we started towards the hall . We said goodbye to a few people and got into the car . He was pressing his phone and didn't even look up . Has he gotten over it already? I crossed my legs and looked out the window . I saw that he looked up, so I leaned back and wondered why we had come so early .

-Did you get what you came for? - he didn't even introduce me to his father ...then what was the point of all our acting?

-Not yet, but soon ...-he didn't look up, his answer was dry .

He sighed and put his phone down .He leaned closer to me and smiled .

- And you will help me - I won't go through this again .

- Me ? Nothing good comes of this for me ....so why would I do that? -I pretended I didn't care ,so maybe he leave me alone .

- I will give you as much money as you ask, but you have to help me Amelia . - I would need the money .....I could finally travel .

We arrived in front of my apartment . We got out and just looked at each other .

I don't know what I should do.Should I accept it?

-You need the money, am I right?

- Yes...-this is all so confusing .

-We discussed it then . You help me and you get your money in the end ....so do I -He raised an eyebrow waiting for my answer .I have to ....

-I just have to pretend I'm your girlfriend and that's it, right? -I have to make sure .

-Exactly, you did well tonight .Good job .- Just like you, you can receive an Oscar award .I stepped closer and looked up at him .

- All right ! -I held out my hand so we could shake hands . He looked at me and smiled and shook my hand .

- See you on Monday Amelia .

Good night . -I nodded and watched him get into the car and drive away .
