Episode 4: Busan Lesson Begin

Finally, Aida arrived at Busan station and met her scholarship coordinator, Mr. Liam and another student from a different country. Aida was shocked again. Every one of her mates knew Korean was better than her. On her way to the campus dorm, inside on a bus, she met her friend from Indonesia. Her name is Ima. Ima had already contacted Aida by email, and they shared w******p contact with each other, and we communicated a lot before coming to Korea, but they had not discussed the scholarship requirements or pre-preparation. They met each other at that Busan Station for the first time. Aida was confused when Aida was on the bus with her classmate. The scholarship coordinator started asking them about which dorm they were going to leave at. Aida was shocked again that she didn't know that she should choose the dorm before coming to South Korea. She approached Mr. Liam when everyone's name was called. And started speaking English because he didn't know Korean.

Aida : Can I know where I will live? Off-campus dorm or on-campus dorm?

Mr Liam: You will live on campus because you don't know Korean. The rule for new students who don't know Korean is to live on campus. Later, if you pass the Korean language exam at level 3, you can live off campus.

Aida: with a shocked expression again. Aida said, Okay, Mr. Liam.

Mr. Liam: I know you, you're the student who doesn't know Korean at all, right? But don't worry, there are other students with the same problem as you. They managed to pass the TOPIK exam, but their preparation was really serious and they were very diligent in studying. So I'm just saying that if you study hard, you will succeed.

Aida: Okay, I'll do my best.

However, in Aida's heart and mind, what does Mr. Liam meant by getting TOPIK level 3. But Aida said to herself: Okay, don't think too much, the important thing is to enjoy the view and started making a video from Busan station to the dorm.Here he was starting to get scared but he also tried not to let it affect his first appearance to Mr. Liam. Aida is a strong and resilient woman. She always solves her problems without worrying about her family. Because she knows that she must be strong for her child, whatever happens in the future, she must continue to choose this path. She promised not to turn back to the past, whatever happens, even if life's tough tests are difficult, she is ready to face them without allowing the results first because Aida knows that only the process is the answer to the future and the future needs the process now.
