I opened the door to see Rhea lying on the floor, bleeding and sweating. I could tell she was still alive, but someone would literally call this a dead person. I rushed to her and picked her up as she looked at me, her eyes dull. "Kilian," she muttered, her tone tearing as Rodger stepped forward.
I couldn't understand what had gotten into Rodger and why he was suddenly acting so differently. Without even waiting for me to say anything, he picked up Rhea and stepped out.
