Jessie knew that arson was a factor, and his friends were a target. Looking at Ash in covered in bandages, and still alive he knew he had to act fast before they found him to finish the job. He found a friend to help fake Ash’s death in the hospital. Faking Ash’s death in the hospital was partly to set the trap for whoever set his friends house on fire. Sure enough Margrette took the bait. She disgusted Jessie with her theatrics but what caught his attention was that she wanted to cremate him. She knew he told her that if he was to ever pass away, he would want to be buried in the family crypt next to his mother. When Jessie reminded her of that, she began to shut him out. It’s wasn’t until Elder Victor told Jessie that Margrette filed for the insurance money the day after his death did he realize she set the fire. He also wanted to deter Margrette from cremating ‘ash’ because it was a ghoul who was playing as him. After the funeral Jessie helped his friend escape the crypt. It would be three years of helping Ash return to normalcy. He couldn’t help quell Ash’s anger like he wanted but helped him redirect his thoughts of revenge for himself to finding a way to save his children. Ash and Jessie decided because his body was burned and he was unrecognizable that he would be able to go by an alias. Ash wanted to be renamed Hugh but jessie helped him choose the name Hugo. Ash felt because his father was still alive, he could take his time to perfect his plan in taking down Margrette. Jessie convinced him to travel to Louisiana. It was hard for Ash to leave his children and he convinced himself the the ‘Ash’ he use to be will always be with them and ‘Hugo’ had to go to louisiana to get stronger. He then set up an auto shop, and for seven years built his business and a name for himself under the guise of being Hugo. He was not biased with who worked for him, and was able to create many opportunities for his employees. He got as close to his kids as he could and would get scolded by jessie numerous times for almost getting caught. For the next seven years he would be updated on Adela and Brandon’ progress. He couldn’t believe such strong and smart people come from him. It saddened him that he couldn’t discuss his pride for them with anyone other jessie. Being a warlock he didn’t stand out at all in Louisiana. It actually helped him blend in but he was surprised to see upfront of all the Supernaturals he had only read in his father’s bestiary.
He began many friendships with other Supernaturals and made so many connections that even without speaking to Jessie and without blowing his cover, he was able to get inside whereabouts on Adela and Brandon.
Becoming apart of the Supernatural community, there was one Supernatural everyone made sure Ash and Jessie knew who to watch out for “Hugo, Jessie there is a man here that is as old as time itself. There are rumors of what he is but no one can confirm. So just stay clear” no matter how many people called Ash by his alias name Hugo, he would never get used to it. “Jessie do you think he could be… ?” Ash didn’t want to finish he sentence because then that would spell trouble. A couple days later jessie got a call from Elder Victor to tell him that Adela and Elliot ran away. “They’re both eighteen, Elder Victor. They’re free to go where ever they want” both Jessie and Ash were chuckling because they both know the words ‘ran away’ came from Margrette. “Well, Margrette wont stop bugging me to do a locator spell so I said I would call you. Don’t do anything though. Not until there is reason to do something. I’m pretty sure she will try to make Brandon leave here to make Adela come home” Jessie was certain that would be the case. Ash felt sorry that he couldn’t tell his father he was alive but the grief his father felt would help Margrette be oblivious to his plan. Elder Victor kept Jessie up to date with the situation of Adela and Elliot. Sure enough, as they suspected Margrette’s schemes got Adela to come home. It was at that time that the mysterious Supernatural entity made himself known to the town that Ash and Jessie were living in. He quickly overtook the town. And it took a week for Jessie and Ash to escape. They then had to plan to rescue the others of the Supernatural community but they needed allies. They couldn’t take down someone so strong by themselves, not only was he strong but he began sprouting minions. For the next three years, Elder Victor would lose contact with Jessie. Both Jessie and Ash would be battling and rescuing those that were being controlled by their enemy. “Hugo, how many more do we have to kill?” Jessie’s clothes were drenched in blood and his machete was coated black. Ash couldn’t even respond he was panting so hard. “Hugo, check on the others. They may need medical attention or healing” Ash then ran over to a group of others. Healing their wounds he came across the last person “Jessie! This one was bitten!” Ash tried to grab his gun but the person got up and shoved him to the ground “Im sorry Hugo, but I want to live! I wont hurt anybody I promise!” The person ran out of the cave with Jessie right behind him. As the group try to recover their belongings they heard the poor man yell before jessie cut his head off. Jessie met up with the group with tears rolling down his face. The man he killed was 20, just barely started adult life and it was taking a toll on him.
It wasn’t until the last year of their battling did their enemy just vanish. It was as if they dreamt this nightmare and it wasn’t at all reality but what makes it real is the dead they had to bury. The tears they cried for lost friends and the sweat that poured from their bodies made the events real. They knew that because they hadn’t found the enemy it meant that he would be back. It was hard to try and go back to regular life. The auto shop was in disarray. Windows were smashed and shelves had been looted. It took a full year to get back into the swing of things and jessie finally reached out to the Elder. He relayed everything that happened over the last two years and he asked what had happened with Adela, Brandon and Elliot. The Elder was very concerned with the vanishing of the enemy and had his scouts looking for any clues. He relayed to jessie that Adela and Brandon were okay and that Elliot was in California. “Jessie, Margrette is plotting for my death. It cannot be helped. There are bigger things afoot. You need to go to Elliot, he’s alone. He needs direction” Elder Victor’s voice was stern with a hint of panic. He knew the panic were for his grandchildren. “Elder Victor, she…” Jessie was cut off “I know she caused my son and his friends’ deaths. It’s up to you and Elliot to save Adela and Brandon” before Jessie could reply the phone cut off. He and Hugo went to Elliot right away. Indeed Elliot was struggling. To Hugo Elliot seemed unhappy. “Mr. Norris? What are you doing here?” Elliots eyes travelled to the man covered in burn scars. Ash hadn’t seen Elliot since he was eight and here he was twenty years old. Ash was misty-eyed, at how much of a fine man he turned out to be “Hello, Mister. I’m Elliot Johnson. Nice to meet you” he stuck out his hand for a hand shake. Ash could cry. Elliot looked just like his father Daniel but had all the mannerisms of his best friend Hugh “My name is Hugo, nice to meet you Elliot” Ash took Elliots hand and gave a firm shake. Jessie decided to stay in California and help Elliot with Ash helping from louisiana. They both helped him get a sales job in a luxury car dealership and helped him with learning to save money. For two years they grew closer to Elliot and it made Elliot happy that he wasn’t alone anymore and they helped with his breakup with Adela. Then came the new of Elder Victor’s death from Brandon. Brandon told Jessie of he and Adela’s plan and Jessie knew he needed to be in Louisiana to watch over them. Elder Victor would forgive him for not attending his funeral but wouldn’t forgive him if he didn’t watch over his grandchildren. He sent Hugo in his stead, not caring how hesitant he was. There was no question why he should go. And Hugo stopped refusing and bit the bullet. Jessie made a plan to follow Adela and Brandon through their entire Trek until they made it into louisiana. The only trouble he found them in was when a man in the woods closed in on them and he scared the man off with his howl. When they made it to a man who hugged Brandon, he knew they were finally safe.
