I drove to Penny's place in silence, a small smile pulling up the edges of my lips as I thought about how she might react to what I'd done for her. Shock? Most definitely. Happiness? I hoped so. Understanding of why I did it? I was hoping like hell she would be. I kept praying to the big dude upstairs that she would love it as much as I did; the thing was f*****g perfect and worth every single penny I spent on it.
