Present-day

“What now Sunny? Aren't you going to school?! I get my pillow and cover my ear. She's being too loud

“Come on! We're going to be late! I'm going to get a pale of water and will pour on you!” my eyes went wide, I know when she's being serious about it and she's serious right now! I don't want to take a bath with cold water.

“You're being too loud, Kim! You might wake up all of the students here with your voice!” I grab the pillow and throw it on her before I went to take a shower

I am a medical student here in one of the highest-ranking universities. I didn't know how did I get here and how did I pass the entrance exam. Just by thinking, I am just a standard kind of student unlike Kim, who graduated with high honor. Maybe I'm good at guessing the correct answers on the exams.

“You Witch! Can you move faster?! We're going to be late on our first day of school!” she's whacking at the door and I am scared that she might break it

“Yes! Yes! Be patient you jerk!” as much as I hate moving under pressure, I need to move before she whacks the door for real

“Wow! I thought you were drowned in there. Get moving! We only have thirty minutes left” I rolled my eyes at her.

“Kim! You're being too excited about this! Calm your ass.” I shouted while I dried my hair in front of the electric fan

“It's the anus, not ass you witch! Move faster!” She throws me a comb then I used it to fix my shoulder-length hair.

“Stop it already! Just put on your white uniform so we can go now! My patience is at its peak!” If she's turning into a dragon, she's already burned me with her fire-breathing. Before leaving, I look at the mirror one last time.

“Stop being too gay, you're beautiful already. Come on now!” I rolled my eyes at her and left the dorm.

Yes, I am part of a society that is not well accepted. I am bisexual but I've never been in a relationship cause I am afraid of what might other people think and say about me. Only Kim and my Auntie know my sexuality and they accept my truth.

“What's our room number?” I stop walking and look at her in disbelief

“What?” She asked with her serious face

“You jerk! You're being loud, keeps on nagging at me to be fast in the dorm then you will ask me what is the number of our room? Jerk!”

“In your face, witch!”

We both stop for a second then laugh at the way we handle our relationship. We've been together since our pre-medical course that is why we're inseparable.

“We're here, jerky” I stop in front of a white sliding door. When I pull the door from left to right, we saw an elevated type of room just like in the theaters. Few students are already seated at the back so we decided to sit in front. I look around and there are so many skeleton dummies, thick books on the rack, and this one big whiteboard in front.

“Did you bring some notebooks?” Kim asked me out of nowhere

“Yes I did, you?” don't tell me she didn't bring any?

“I did. I'm just asking.” Then she laughs. Yes, I know I had one crazy friend beside me and I can't do anything about it.

As time passed, other students are pouring inside this room and it is starting to become noisy. Our row is now complete with other students that is why this jerk beside me is starting to talk to them. I wish her mouth has a zipper so I can shut it whenever I wanted to. I put my arms on the desk and stoop my head then closed my eyes. Suddenly, the loud and noisy room became silent as if there was an angel who passed by. I look in front of me and saw this pretty and tall lady wearing a white coat. She has these eyes with a piercing look that can cut you in half. I sit up straight and fix my hair.

“She's pretty” I heard Kim whispered to me. I pinch her leg to stop her cause we might get kick out of this room by her doings

“Good morning everyone!” Her voice is even scarier than she looks. She looked around as if looking into our souls.

“Good morning, Doctor” everyone greeted her

“I'll be your professor for today, I'm Doctor Asunta”

“De Rossi” Kim whispered again so I pinch her leg for the second time cause she might be heard

“No, not De Rossi” our eyes went wide. She heard Kim, oh my God. It's only the first day and might be our last. My heart is beating so rapidly.

“Miss?” She looks at Kim and in respect, Kim stood up. The atmosphere is silent and no one dares to cough or even breathe.

“Doc, I'm Cruz” Kim is nervous, I can see that she repeatedly squeezes her hand.

"Come here in front and tell me about yourself" Kim went in front of the class but before she talks, she gave a look to Doctor Asunta like begging for mercy

"Uhm, well I'm Kim Ren Cruz, 21 years old..n-nothing more" I scratched my head at what she just said about herself.

“That's it? Oh my, next!” Doctor Asunta shouted and it caught me off-guard cause she's looking at me so I pointed myself in disbelief.

“Yes, you” I don't have any choice but to follow her. Kim helps me walk in front cause she knows that I'm not comfortable with many people watching me. This is my fear...Seconds had passed, yet no words came out from my mouth

“Speechless?” Then I heard everyone chuckle which makes me more nervous.

"I-I'm Sunny V-Vergara...21 y-years old and..." I forcibly smiled and I look like an i***t, I know it when they chuckle for the second time.

"Okay—oh? You're late" I heard the door shut.

I look at the sliding door then I saw this woman. She's white as snow and model-sized height. Her lips are perfect and red as a rose, enough to tell that she is gorgeously stunning. She's wearing ragged pants, a hoodie, and sneakers. Also wearing eyeglasses with a photochromic lens which she looks like she's wearing shades. She's gorgeously enough to make everyone look at her and stun them, including me. She's way too cool for a medical student who is not following the norms of this program

I stared at her especially her eyes behind those lenses. It's my favorite part of the body and gives me an impression that she has this strong aura and as if she's looking inside you.

“Mi dispiace, Signora” I'm surprised when this strong accent of a foreign language came from her.

“Well then, you're next!”

I walk back to my seat then Kim suddenly pinches me that is why I looked at her with confusion

“What is it?”

“She's so damn gorgeous. I saw you drooling in front while staring at her” I pinch her leg harder as I could

“Ouch...” She can't cry out which make me happy for bullying me

I fix my hair when the gorgeous woman stood in front of the class and everyone was stunned.

"Kindly take your glasses off and next time wear your uniform! I won't hesitate to kick you out of this room next time!" Doctor Asunta surely is a beast.

“Si, Signora” is she Spanish or something else? Her accent is so sexy...

She slowly took her eyeglasses off, I expected her to have a different eye color since she looks like a foreigner and her language, but sadly her eye color are just ordinary

“She's so beautiful and she looks snow white with her red lips. Damn, Sunny, you look like her dwarf when you get near to her” Kim whispered but I didn't mind her, my attention is still on her when she suddenly smirks which is a bit weird cause she's smirking out of nowhere.

“Introduce yourself” Doctor Asunta commanded her

"I'm Raven Vierci and I am 21 years old." Her name is pretty too and her surname sounds like Spanish or something?

"Vierci? Are you Italian?”

“Si, but I can understand and talk English enough” not bad that she can understand and talk another language besides her mother tongue. And her voice is very authoritative when she talks

“How long have you been here in the Philippines?” Is this a talk show?

“I've been here for five years, Signora” though she has this foreign accent when she talks English which is captivating. I bit my lower lip for no reason...

“Alright, take your seat” she walk passed on our row but I never gave a second look to where she's going to sit cause this jerk beside me might think that I had a crush on Raven. Well, to be honest, she has this effect on me maybe because she's too gorgeous and her beauty looks like from the 1900s. She's differently beautiful...

When the class ended, we walk through the corridor and Kim is not shutting her mouth about one of our classmates

“That John Michael guy is one hella hot!” I rolled my eyes at her

“Stop drooling over men, they will just leave you.” I talk frankly

“You're so bitter!” We both stop for a second before walking down the stairs when we heard one scream behind us

“Excuse me! Coming through!” I look behind and saw this person running then he suddenly slips and pushes my body.

“Sunny!” My heart went out of my chest! I'm about to fall on the stairs like everything is in slow motion

“Kim!” I went out of balance and tried to hold on to Kim's hand but it's too late. My hand slips on her hand and I just close my eyes, I know this will be painful and I might break my bones. I heard everyone screams and it stops...

I felt these soft and warm wrapped around my body and when I opened my eyes I saw a beautiful face with a pair of blue eyes looking at me. I felt jolts inside my body as if I saw myself in her eyes. She's holding my body and it feels so comfortable

“Are you not well?” I can feel her warm breath on my face. My heart is pounding more than when I fall on the stairs

“R-Raven?” H-How did she caught me?

“I am asking you, are you not well?” she helps me to get up. No words came from my mouth I cannot comprehend what did just happened, I know I fall from the stairs and I didn't saw her anywhere in this area.

“Sunny!” Kim hug me and look at my body as if she's searching for an injury then look at the guy who just accidentally pushed me

“You! I will burn you!” I hold her arm to stop her

“I'm sorry! Please forgive me! I didn't mean to, it's just an accident” I waved my hand to stop them then I notice that Raven is not here anymore. I looked around and saw her walking alone in the corridor. I followed her and tried to call her name but she didn't stop walking. I have no choice but to grab her arm, that's when she looks at me. Her beauty stunned me and all I can do is to stare at her... She's more beautiful with her deep blue eyes

“Si? Che cosa?” I-I did try to find the words but nothing came out of my mouth. My heart is pounding like hell. She just stands in front of me waiting for me to say a thing

“Thank you for saving me but how did you---“ I know I didn't see her near that area

“You are fortunate that I was there.” She just talks as if nothing happened

“Thank you, Raven” I let go of her arm then she just turns around and left

“What a savior” Suddenly, I felt someone taps my shoulder and look, it was Kim.

“Come on, we might get late on our next subject.” I pull her to start walking. While walking, there's so much question still bugging my mind

“Kim? Did you saw her eyes? They were blue, right?” I look at her and she looks like thinking of it

“I had a glimpse on it, they were blue?” I am right! It's blue!

“But a while ago on our first subject, when she took her eyeglasses off they were black” She slaps my arm then laugh a little that made me confused

“Duh! Maybe she was wearing contact lenses now, you silly! Do you think she has powers changing eye colors? Oh my, did you hit your head?” I rolled my eye at her.

She's making fun of me! I know there's no chance of a human can change their eye color none other than they will wear contact lenses or they have this disorder like copper toxicity that may cause Kayser-Fleischer ring these are dark rings that appear to encircle the iris of the eye they are due to copper deposition. Or Alexandria's genesis is a mythical genetic condition, mostly in women that have purple-colored eyes.

I cannot help it but my mind cannot stop thinking about her. I want to know more about her...
