Chapter 2The line for security was long, and by the time Dyo and Steven reached their gate, they were already beginning to board first class. “Do you want to take your hat off? Maybe loosen your tie?” Dyo asked Steven as they entered the airplane. Steven turned to look at the flight attendants, and then lowered his head. “Nope, I’m good.” “Okay,” Dyo said as they climbed into their seats. “Do you like the window or the aisle?” “I wouldn’t mind the window,” Steven said. “But I’ll take whichever you don’t like.” “That would be the window,” Dyo said. “I’m not really crazy about flying, and I don’t like to be reminded of how high up we are.” “Perfect,” Steven said, taking the window seat.
