The year 2018
Earth
Author's POV
Danae feels like she’s in a constant state of a loop. She has a lot of questions which are needed to be answered, but all her dreams give are nothing but are another set of queries and confusion. She’s stuck in nothingness. She seems like an embodiment of someone who doesn’t know anything about herself.
The sand inside the hourglass starts to deplete. It only meant one thing; that time had passed. It’s been a year, a year of looking for answers but she remained lost and felt like nothing had changed. She’s still the same girl who woke up who doesn’t know her name. Danae is about to be engulfed by fear. Her curse, her dreams; everything might get worst unexpectedly, and by that time, she doesn’t know if she can handle those.
“Hide her well Queen, I beg you,” the man said while his hand was caressing the woman's cheeks. They are sitting on a plantation that was ransacked by something or someone. Drops of blood are escaping his mouth, and the familiar silver-haired girl knew for sure that he’s about to meet his demise. Everything is behind her control, and she doesn’t know what to do.
The woman replied with tears and shakes her head. The man wanted them to run together but his state makes it impossible to do so. He wanted her to run and hide their kid well. Hide from something or someone - nothing is certain yet because the memories are still a bit fogged. Tears are escaping her eyes abruptly. She doesn't want to agree but for the sake of their kid, she left him lying on top of the dead lavenders.
The alarm clock rang vigorously and snapped her back from her so-called darkness. Sweat is all over her face. The same goes with the curiosity that's conquering her mind. Another query to be answered, another question to be answered. Once again, she’s stuck - in an endless loop of questions.

From the other side of a fogged window, it is the same phenomenon she's witnessing. Rain was carefully poured by the grayish-colored clouds. It looks like the storm will continue its journey, leaving her happy observing her favorite phenomena and smelling her favored smell.
She smiled knowing that she can smell her favorite fragrance a few more minutes from now. The girl closed her eyes languidly, as the curve remained plastered on her lips. She remain seated and placidly waiting for the rain to meet the ground. It calms her, those sounds from the roof.
“Good morning class,” Mr. Ratra said while walking through that narrow doorway.
She can still hear it, that melodious piece played by the downpour. The girl opened her eyes, perfectly symmetrical to the dripping sounds of rain. It’s too bad that she can’t enjoy the rain because she has to focus on the class. Everyone went ready and each of them bring out necessary materials such as textbooks and notebooks.
The teacher looked in her direction and smiled. It feels like there's something on him that she must be wary of. She was filled with doubts, but she shrugged it all off and responded with a bow. He then arranged his things on the teacher’s desk while instructing them to arrange their chairs and pick some small pieces of paper underneath them.
“Today, there are three transferee students in our class from the neighboring school, but you will only met four and the other one will come tomorrow,” he said calmly. Mr. Rata looked outside the door and gestured for them to enter the class. Danae wasn’t invested in this so she just checked her book and read the lesson they were about to be taught in class.
The next thing that happened is that 2 men entered the room. The girl somewhat feels like she saw them before, but she can't figure out when, where, and how. The class started to squeals, speak softly, and make unnecessary noises. The men - you can’t ignore the fact that they are handsome, and that explains the attention they got from the class.
Her pendants suddenly felt warmer. This time she's aware of what's happening, the pendants are glowing. It’s different from yesterday’s warmth, it’s gentle and comforting, different from the aggressive and abrupt heat latterly. Despite this difference, she still doesn’t know what that meant and that only left her with another fear.
That same fear she felt, those same goosebumps, are playing harshly with her again. It seems like fear is slowly touching her skin and was about to her alive in that same spot. She knew that it is getting worst, day by day. Every day, enigmatic things are happening. She’s shaking in fear and pulled her gaze and calms herself with soft caressing to her arms.
After getting a few deep breathes, she slowly looked at the people standing in front laggardly. She is right, this is the worst. She’s now debating whether she did the right thing of looking back again. There are now two pairs of blue-colored eyes and one, in contrast, a red pair owned by her teacher is looking at her.
Those red- pair is nothing new, but seeing those people with another set of colors is too much for her. It gave nothing but fear. She’s stuck in her chair. Danae wants to run her knees are shaking so hard that standing would be impossible. She’s confused about everything and is on the verge of crying.
Silenced, the girl is trapped in a deafening silence. She looked everywhere, at everything that surrounds her. Her classmates seem usual, some are talking, some are minding their business. She knew for sure that she was the only one who can see those colored eyes.
She closed her eyes, not knowing what to do. She once again took deep breaths before removing the fence in her eyes. Suddenly, it went weirder. The melodious song is nowhere to be heard, the same goes with the noises made by her classmates.
She took a glimpse outside through the same foggy window. What she saw is too fictitious for her own eyes. She can’t believe what she’s witnessing right now. The downpour has stopped, but not literally. Droplets of water are in the middle of the air. Her classmates also had stopped. Everything had stopped except for her and her mind that is trying to make sense of what’s happening but failed.
Overflowing with fear of uncertainty of what might happen, she lost her consciousness. The last thing that happened is after she lost herself from fear, everything went back to normal. A loud thump was heard in class and looked in her direction, and saw how she fainted and was on the ground. The class president, Lawrence, carried her to the infirmary and waited for her to wake up.
Danae woke up under a white blanket covering her, after a few hours, without remembering what she had witnessed. Lawrence is sitting beside her while reading a book and adjusting his glasses. When he realized that Danae regained consciousness, he explained that the nurse told him that it was just simple anemia and she should just rest for a while.
