I slept early that evening because I lacked sleep last night resulting in me waking up at four in the morning. There was a missed call notification seven hours ago from Aldric. So I tried calling him back and was surprised that after a few rings, he answered it.
“How come you’re up so early?” I said.
He chuckled. “Because you called?” He said in a bedroom-like voice making me feel a little bit guilty.
