(Jousett) I walked around making sure everyone was okay. I noticed Justin, a little boy who had a toy soldier dad had made for him. “Mr. Dylan, I’m leaving my soldier here with you, so he can protect you and Mrs. Anna when you’re in heaven” the little boy, Justin said before kissing the toy placing the soldier toy in dad’s coffin. I watched Justin kiss his little hand before touching dad’s coffin. He then looked at his mom taking her hand and walking out. The atmosphere was heavy with a profound sense of mourning and reverence as everyone continued with the vigil to pay their last respects to my parents.
