Rise Above

Chapter 3

      Ellie's POV

  After I got done getting ready I looked into my floor mirror I looked perfect. My red strapless dress stopped mid thigh and my black heels, my black hair was  curled and placed to the side and my makeup was perfect.

"Are you ready for this" Kat says as I turn around and see her smiling like crazy but as I look at her outfit. She walks towards me and we glance at each other in the mirror. "God help our mates" Kat says with and evil smirk.

As we walk out of my room and down to the back yard where my brothers and my mom set up for the party. The closer we got to the back door I started to feel something in the pit of my stomach but as we got closer I just pushed the feeling aside.

Kat opens the door and as we walk out a bright light shines on me and Kat and we hear the whole pack cheering as we walk down the stairs. We get to the bottom steps and my parents walk up to me and give me a kiss on the cheek.

As I walked around my party and stopped and talk to some of the pack members. I started to feel a little tingle in my stomach and push it aside. After talking to one of the guards about training I turn around and bump into my brother.

"Jason what the hell" I say but I notice a guy standing behind him. "Mate Mate Mate" Evie was yelling in my head but I shushed her up so I wouldn't embarrass my self infront of him.

"Ellie do you remember  Zayn Smith" Jason says as he smirks at me. I nod " Yes its been a few years since you have been around" I say as I stare into his shining grey eyes. "God can we just go ahead at mate with him" Evie says as she starts to purr in my head.

"Evie hush" I say as I pull my attention back to Zayn. He was tall 6'3 tan chocolate colored eyes a beautiful smile and a very toned body that would make any women fall to there knees.

"Are you done checking me out" Zayn says with a sly smirk. I blush and look away to see if I can find Kat. "Do you want to go somewhere else and talk" Zayn asks and I just nod and follow him to the lake near the back house.

We reach the lake and i sit down on a log and lost in thoughts when Zayn spoke up. "I dont want this" He says as I look at him in confusion. "You dont want what" I ask tilting my head to the side.

"I dont want you" He states as I stand up and look at him trying not to cry. "What why" I ask choking back my sorrow and hurt. "You are my best friends little sister" He says and I shrug. "Is that your only excuse" I snap at him.

"No I dont want you, you are nothing but a problem and weak and ugly" He says and i take a step back. "Do you think I could love someone so hideous" He says as I look at the ground.

"I Zayn Smith reject you Ellie Jacobs" He says and I fall to my knees and start crying. "See just what I thought weak just like you will be as a Luna weak" He says as I cry.

"Ellie you are not weak dont let him get to you, you are strong and beautiful dont let him see you at your low" Evie says and I think of her words. I stand up and wipe my tears way and look into Zayns eyes "I Ellie Jacobs accept your rejection" I say and he walks away smiling. 

I wait for him to get out of sight before I fall back to my knees and start to cry again as I lay near the cold lake.

       Jason's POV

 I watched as my little sister and Zayn walk off into the forest I was so happy to see that she had a good mate. But after 20 mins I found Zayn in the kitchen kissing on another she wolf. "Hey man" I say as I walk into the kitchen further.

"Whats up" Zayn says as he pushes the girl off of him and he walks closer to me and the girl walks out. "Have you seen Ell" I ask as I know he was the last one to see her. "Nah man after we had a little talk we went our own ways" He says with a sly smirk.

"Well the party is pretty much over I just want to see if she found her mate and see if she had fun" I say as I turn to walk away I hear Zayn mumble "She is to weak for a mate" he says. I walk out of the kitchen but I beat my friend to a pulp for insulting my baby sister.

 2 hours after the party was over I look around trying to find my sister but nothing. Not in her room or any where in her room not even in her private room that she thinks we dont know about. "Dad" I mind link my father. 

"What is it son its 1 am" He says in a sleepy voice. "Its Ellie she isnt home" I say to my father. "What" HE says as I hear him jump up out of his bed getting dressed as I stood in the hallway.

He opens his bed room door "What do you mean your sister is not home" My father says with anger. "I checked all over the house and even her private room she isnt here" I say worriedly. 

My father mind links the all the pack guards to go out and find his daughter and bring her home. Within 20 mins one of the guards knocks on the door. My father opens the door and sees the guard holding Ellie.
