Rise Above

Chapter 9

      Ellie's POV

 I woke up on the ground with a horrible headache I grab my head trying to remember what happened and then yesterdays memories came flooding back to me.  

Knock Knock

I get up from the floor "Just a minute" I yell quickly getting up and changing clothes so no one sees me in yesterdays clothes. "Come in" I say as I sit on the edge of the bed. "Luna the Alpha would like to know if you will join him for breakfast" Sam says as she enters my room looking worried.

" No I would like to have my meals alone and in my room if you dont mind" I say as I turn my head to look out the window. "Yes Luna" Sam says and with that she leaves.

As I sit in my room looking out the window Sam has been gone for about 5 minutes and I can hear stuff being broke from down stairs. I listen as I hear the front door slam and to my notice I see Cullen run out of the house and turn into his wolf.

Knock Knock

"Come in" I say knowing it was Sam bringing me my breakfast. She walks in and sets my tray of food on my coffee table near the fire place. "Thank you Sam" I say and she nods walking towards the door. Turning to look at me before leaving.

"Luna if I may" She says nervous, "Go on Sam you know you can speak freely with me" I say and motion for her to come take a seat on the couch with me.

"Luna I know you have been hurt in that past I can see it in your eyes, But the Alpha would never hurt you Kate has been chasing after him for years. He has never shown interest in any she wolf he has waited to be with his mate" She says looking at me with hope.

"Thank you Sam" I say she nods and walks out of the room. I look out the window and decided to take a walk around the pack territory. So I throw on some red skin tight short shorts and a white tank top making my outfit complete with my black vans.

I walk out side and notice I have two guards following me which I didnt mind I am use to it from my fathers pack. I walk into the forest and found my way to a pound, I sit down on a log and look at the amazing view before me.

"Beautiful" I hear a voice behind me and see Cullen standing a few feet away. I was so focused on the gorgeous view I didnt notice anyone walking towards me. "Yes it is" I say as I turn back towards the pound.

"Look Ellie" He goes to say but before he could continue I put my hand up and turn to look at him. "Come sit with me" I say then turn back the pound. He walks over to me and sits where there is about a foot of space between us.

"I know" I say as he looks at me confused. "You know what" he ask wide eyed. "I know that you werent into that slut that was in your office that she has been chasing you for years" I say as I look into his eyes getting lost into them.

He looks shocked for me to know all that "Sam" he says looking at me. "Yes but I still need you to prove that its only me you want" I say to him. " As you wish princess" He says and gets up to walk away but not before taking my hand in his. 

"Come lunch is ready" he says as I hold his hand and follow him back to the house. Walking into the house I see Paige and Jade sitting at the table. "Hey Cullen we are gonna steal your mate for a few hours" Jade says looking at Cullen with a evil smirk.

"Where" he says looking serious. "Just to the mall looks like the new Luna needs new clothes" Paige says. Cullen looked at me to see if it was something I wanna do and I nod. "Sounds fun" I say with a small smile.

After lunch me and girls go to leave but not before Cullen making sure that I have 4 guards. " Be careful princess" He says kissing my forehead as I go to walk out the door.
