Leonidas’ wolf pressed on through the night and for most of the following day without stopping. Although Brooke was tired, she knew how critical it was for them to outrun the armies behind them, especially after being caught by that other wolf last night.
She was unnerved by the strange exchange between Leonidas and the other wolf. What started off as a very real threat ended in a nuzzle before the wolf disappeared and left them alone.
There were a lot of questions that Brooke had for Leonidas once he returned to his human form, the most pressing of which was where they were headed next.
