Chapter 13

2029 Words

Thirteen Ivy Did I go too far by kissing her? In the heat of the moment, it seemed like a funny thing to do but now that I was in bed, I was worried about the implications. Would Frances think I was making a pass at her? I turned on my side, throwing my blanket off. It had been a nice kiss, but it was barely more than a peck. A quick smooch between friends. The fake-girlfriend thing complicated it a little but it was fake. Fake. My toes got cold and I adjusted my duvet, bunching it up so I could kind of straddle it. Why did I kiss her? Whyyyyy. I’d kissed Jenna plenty of times for fun on a drunken night out and those never meant anything. Gah, this was ridiculous.
