Ten Ivy Morning came with a hammering headache and a swirling stomach. A loud, hammering noise penetrated through my skull. How could my headache be this loud? The noise continued and it took me a moment to work out it was my phone vibrating on the nightstand. One glance at the screen had me groaning. Why now? I picked up Mum’s call, already dreading the lectures and faux-life lessons she was going to give me. “Hi, Mum.” “Hello, lemon drop. It’s been a while.
