CHAPTER 2
Jason and his crew unloaded several loads of logs at the Denton saw mill. It was a big order, for a client getting ready to build a new home. They needed to be cut into lumber and cured before they could be used, but the saw mill would take care of that.
Jason looked around and called out to his crew to wrap everything up for the day. They still had a good few logs to unload the next day before they could return to Morristown, so everyone was heading to the motel for the night … after a few drinks at one of the local hangouts.
