CHAPTER 4
Back in Denton, July was trying to figure a way she could get to Morristown. She was sure, if she could have more time with Jason, she could make him fall for her. Her problem was she didn’t have a lot of spare cash. She made pretty good money, but she also liked to spend her money on clothes and shoes. She also spent a lot of what she made partying.
July could not stand staying home and being bored. She would never understand how June could spend so much time studying. When their mom was sick and June asked if she could help take care of her, she flatly refused. The sickroom was not for her. Just thinking about being around sick people made her shiver. There was no way she was going to get stuck with sickroom duty.
