CHAPTER 15
The Judge and Lucy arrived on Thursday. They were spending the night at Hawthorn house with Blake and Mrs. Shell. They were also going to stay over on Friday night, so they would be there for the reception on Saturday.
Meg, Anna, and June decorated the church for Maddie and Liam’s wedding. They hadn’t told Maddie. They wanted it to be a surprise. Rafe managed to get two buses and spread the word for everyone to park their cars on a vacant lot in town and ride out in the buses. The buses would make the trip every hour. Chief Welldon assigned a patrolman to watch the lot. They wanted to be sure no one bothered the cars.
