CHAPTER FOUR: SAVED

I screamed for help as I ran through the dark alley with every ounce of speed I had in me. I didn't dare stop to look back, but, I felt I had widen the gap a bit. Yet, that didn't ease my worry. My thoughts were to lose them completely and make it out of here alive at any cost.

But unfortunately I came to a dead end. I had not place to hide as well. Surrendering to my fate, I knelt down with my eyes closed praying one last time that my soul be saved. Alas I knew no one was coming to help me cause my only family was dead so no one will even bat an eye if I die here.

" Oh what's wrong you're done playing?" I heard a voice say. I opened my eyes and saw Hugo striding towards me with confidence. "Well it time for me to have a feel of you then" came his voice again. " Wow Hugo wait for me bro" Steph said with a sly smile. " You know why don't we let her choose? I can tell that sl*tty mouth of hers definitely wants to pleasure one of us most" Hugo replied.

" P-ple-please n-n-no" I said amidst tears. " Aww Hugo see you're scaring her" Steph said with a mischievous smile.

"Where did that hardcore spirit vanish to?" Steph asked.

I didn't dare to look them in the eyes anymore so I dropped my head. Instantly, I heard their laughter echo through the alleyway as they continued to tease me.

"Ugh! This is getting boring it time for some fun now choose princess before we choose for you. My head remained down. I couldn't bring myself to look in their eyes. Tears continued to flow freely from my eyes as I thought of my coming death.

" Now you're giving us the silent treatment?" Hugo shouted.

" Oh Princess now you're in for it" he said as I heard footsteps coming towards me.

I screamed in pain I a hand grabbed my hair roughly. " You will respond when you are asked a question brat" came Hugo's voice. " Now choose" he said again but this time with more aggression. I shook my head in disagreement. " But you don't have a choice" his voice came again.

"Please just kill me then" I said sorrowfully. " As it stands now I have no one by my side again, so just end my misery please" I pleaded.

" Pathetic" he said and threw me to the ground roughly. I winced in pain as my head came in contact with the wall. "You think you can lure me in with those pathetic words? You think I'll sympathize with you?" he said as he started kicking me non stop.

"H-h-elp" I managed to cough out as Hugo continued his damage. "Do you want him to stop?" I heard Steph asked.

I nodded slightly. but they just laughed and switched places. This time Steph not only kicked me in the belly, but he also stamped his feet on my entire body.

I grew so weary I could hardly move my body. My vision became blurry and I couldn't tell the difference between the two guys anymore. I felt like I was about to pass out.

Tears continued to flow freely from my eyes as the pain continued to be inflicted on my body, and when I felt the darkness drawing close, they finally stopped their assault but what I heard next made me regret not being consumed by the darkness's earlier.

" Now let's have some fun Hugo" A voice which I believe was Steph's said.

I felt them stand over me then one bent down and tore my dress exposing my bra. I didn't have the strength to react cause my body was aching all over so I remained unmoved.

"Woooooo I thought you looked hot with clothes on but damn you look like a freaking goddess without them" I heard a voice say. Soon I felt someone's lips on my neck but I remained motionless.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" a distant voice said. I thought it was just in my head, but when my assaulter's lips moved from my neck I began to think someone was actually here to save me. Then, I felt my assaulter's weight lift off me and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

" Who the hell do you think you are?" "Just go back to where you came from and we will forget about punishing you kiddo?" The assaulter's ended with a sinister laughter.

"If I leave then she goes with me" the distant voice came again sending waves of panic down my spine.

"Oh really? Then I guess we have no choice but to do away with you" One assaulter said. " I'd love to see you try, but please put up a good fight I've been bored for hundreds of years so please don't disappoint me" the distant voice said mockingly. "Are you making fun of us?We'll see who will be mocking who after this is done". One assaulter said. "Oh look at me I'm scared" the distant voice mocked.

Soon, I heard gunshots sound through the alley but I couldn't shield my body because of the immense pain I was feeling. I remained unmoved desperately praying a stray bullet won't hit me. "I'm sure we got him with that much bullets we wasted" came a voice I'm sure belonged to Hugo. "Yeah no human can survive that". Steph backed him I think.

"Ugh I told you not to disappoint me. Is a little fun much to ask? Anyways it's my turn now" the distant voice said after a minute

"How is that possible? You should not be able to with stand even two of those shots. No human can withstand that" Steph said with a hint of fright. " What are you?" Steph said again.

"Well if you really want to know I can tell you since you both are gonna die anyway".

" How did you reach here so quickly?"Steph asked. "Oh can't you take a guess bro? If I'm not human as you say then what am I? The voice asked.

After a long wait the voice came again. "Lemme just make it easier for you since your pea sized brain can't comprehend the hints". The voice said in an amusing tone.

I finally turned my head to the direction of the voices and regretted instantly. I saw the stranger whisper something into Steph's ear and slit his throat with an unimaginable speed. Steph instantly dropped to the floor dead. Fear suddenly took over me and I averted my gaze from them.

"How dare you" I heard Hugo say. "Oh sorry didn't see you there. Don't worry I'll send you to be with your friend soon", the stranger said.

Before I knew it an agonizing scream sounded through the alley and I subconsciously reverted my gaze to their direction. I knew that sight would haunt me forever but I still wanted to know if I was gonna die too.

The stranger started making his way towards me. I tried gathering myself from the ground ignoring the massive pain that shot through my body every second. Soon, dark spots began to cloud my vision but I still managed to get on my feet. Alas I couldn't take a step as the dark spots clouded my vision completely making me fall into oblivion.
