    Kani was still naughty in the class as and when he gets an opportunity in showing his naughtiness. He used to play cricket with water bottles and chalk pieces and play pen-fights, hand cricket, and book cricket, inside the class. 

    One day, Kani was fighting inside the class with one of his friends named Santhosh. He was a lean boy in the class, just like that of Kani. The incident happened during the interval break time (10 minutes gap for refreshments that they used to have it in their regular hours of the school). Kani used to play with Santhosh for fun by pushing him down and ask him to say give up so that Kani leaves him away. It happens usually. But unfortunately, this was noticed by his maths teacher that day. He asked both of us to put kneel down outside the class. And they put kneel down. The break was over soon and the students of the class started to go for the library period by locking down the classroom door. After that, there came the class teacher Mrs. Valarmathi. They both thought that the ma'am would enquire about their punishment for sure. But the preceding that happened was really amazing and funny. 

    She simply watched the boys and asked, "What man! Are you in Punishment? Ok! Ok! Continue! Continue!", and just went off. This made both burst out into laughter even at that saddest part of the time. Kani asked Santhosh that they shall ask excuse to the staff and ask him to apologize to them. But Santhosh was unmoved. He answered that he will remain in the same position until and when the same staff who came them the punishment come over there and set them free. 

    Kani thought of a plan and he said Santhosh that the Principal was coming in the corridor. Before Kani completes his sentence, Santhosh dashed into a run like anything towards the concerned faculty's room. Kani said it casually but surprisingly, the Principal came to the corridor at that time. Kani then pretended like he was tying his shoelace and then started running, by following Santhosh. Both of them asked excuse, from the maths teacher. The word that came from the teacher's mouth was really shocking for them. 

    The teacher told that he gave punishment only till the break time gets over and asked them why they followed it up even after that. This gave Kani half happiness and half agitation. They, then, thanked the teacher and soon entered into the library, escaping from the librarian's notice. 

    Kani also used to tease Santhosh most of the time and make him angry. Santhosh in return used to take his ballpoint pen and give a prick on Kani's hands. But Kani won't be silent even then. He also then used to do his counterattack with his pen. Likewise, they used to fight most of the time but those were memories in the part of their school life. 

    Pen fights were common at that time. The students of the class mostly prefer 'Montex Mega Top World Pen' for this fight as it survives for a long time during the gameplay. Also, they use additional grips in their pen for extra support so that the pen won't down easily from the table. Also, they used to play hand cricket and this not only gave them excitement but also helped them in doing fast calculations in maths. This was not an easy game. It needs both hands and eye coordination for playing this game. 

    During that time, the English teacher named, Mrs. Devasena had a big doubt that why Kani's handwriting was so light than many other's handwriting in the class. She decided to keep a small test to come to a conclusion regarding this matter concerned. She gave a parker pen to Kani asked him to write a word. Kani did that what she said. Then she called upon another boy named, Balaji to write the same word. He too did that. Comparatively, Balaji's letters looked so darker than Kani's letters. The teacher then replied Kani that the fault was not in the pen that he used but the fault was actually in his hands that was writing so lighter that time. Kani accepted that and he was shocked by her deeds. But the reason behind that was the fracture incident which took place when he was studying in the seventh standard. 

    The students in the class who used to keep on disturbing the class. They used to c***k jokes then and there and sometimes even make the teacher forget the topic of discussion of that particular day. The teacher used to get trapped to come out of the topic because of them. But sometimes, these kinds of entertainments are much needed to make our life go, in an easy way. After all, we all long for such a childish attitude, to get relaxed before we come back to our routine again. 

    Our mind will be like that of pure gold, until and unless, we were at childhood period where there won't be any intentional and directional deeds to interfere in other's life. But as we grow up, we do develop jealousy, violence, and other ambiguous behaviors among ourselves, due to the huge influence of the surroundings, within which we live. The surroundings used to change, as and when we grow up. But we have to know what things we have to keep and what things we have to put aside, as we grow up. This is what they call it as 'the sense of maturity'.
