Project Schemer: Higeki's chapter: Requiem

Arc 3 - Chapter 4: One same goal.

"I will answer all of your questions but let's finish this meeting first."

"I know what is important."

The meeting continue, with nearly fifteen years living in an underground bunker, Omega cultivate his talents and with Alfred's experience with the Conductor, Omega can rival him. A lot of his creations can easily brought terror to the city, weapon with the capability of mass destruction, shield and armor that the weapon used to destroy the part of the wall can't even penetrate the outer layer. And perfect timing is an important factor since the creations of Omega finished when the city used their most powerful weapon so we can use the data of those weapon to test against Omega's creations. But i sense something else much more nefarious, Omega has his own intention, he wanted something else and that is the moment i see his eyes, a red line appear it is thin like a thread but i saw it, he wanted something maybe bloodshed. 

"Tell me your true intention."

"It is simple, i wanted this war to end and everyone can get back what they should have."

"You know that i know that you are lying, you know i have some connection to god of water. You know far too much for someone who live in an underground bunker."

"Well, my ambition remain the same, Sigma inform me everything of course."

"You know so well that water reflect everything and i have some of that power. The moment we mentioned our plan i saw everything, your eyes and your smile, you doesn't want victory because you know the end of the war will be victory."

"So i can't hide from you. But don't worry i wish for no one harm, just one request, the moment we encounter the Conductor, i want you to give private, i want to end his existance myself."

"Why ?"

"Because that is my mission, i must condemn him myself."

"Another question, how do you know that i have some connection toward the water god ?"

"No i don't, i just know you have some thaumaturgical abilities that you can't use."

And then the mastermind himself give me a tour in his workshop, compare to those weapons and armors, creations in this workshop is far more gruesome. I can only think these creations only exist in my worst nightmare, but he knows, he knows i won't speak a word because he know how much i wanted to win this war. The moment i speak is the moment everything fall apart, this little haven and this i can't speak anything and the last part of the workshop is the moment i found my worst nightmare. And that is the moment i saw what can war and hatred did to a person, the Conductor have a plan to level the haven but Omega already have a plan to level the city after he took down the Conductor.

"I believe you can keep your mouth shut and become the inspiration of this army. I will do all the dirty job and this time, you don't have to take the blame for everything. Every casualty will be my responsible, because i am a fool who try to role play a genius."

"Is that painful ?"

"I endured pain and humiliation from the city for what they did to ORDER, and please, i really admire you Higeki, you are an endless source of inspiration toward everyone. But please, don't tell me to give up. I want to condemn that man."

"But i need to ask, what is this thing ?"

"This is my creation that one word but carry the power to destroy this world. Because of its power i am still trying to surpress it so for now, this thing is out of order."

A creation that capable of destroy the world, the creature inside the tube look almost like a human, a replica of Omega. So in his heart there is hatred but he doesn't want to talk about that so i have to ask Alpha later, look at him i just saw a man driven by grief and hatred, that compassion died in the past long ago. After a conversation with Alpha there are so much more to the truth that i didn't know, and the reason for all that hatred is right in front of my eye. Because every members of the Savant are students and admirers of Professor Musouka, and they are surpressing their hatred and this is long enough, even Omega have to show himself, this is not the sign that the battle is getting tough. This is the sign that this battle will be nothing but a bloodbath, so that should explain for the one time Lambda became angry and his faries went berserk. What can a genius do they use everything they have, one thought of fear flashed in my mind, they can break the world or even worst they can do what the city leaders can do, replace everything that they want.

"Don't worry we won't do that. And don't question, i can use thaumaturgy, everyone's minds are open book to me. Just i want to read it or not, this power is used for vengeance and because you are so important to him, i won't hurt you or your friend."

"Him ?"

"The first students of professor Musouka, the one who he saved himself the boy you should know by now as your father."

"Higeki."

"Yes, Higeki. He was the inspiration for everyone in this organization. The person i wanted to avenge isn't professor Musouka but him. We will avenge the humiliation and the torture that WORLD inflicted on him."

The creations of Omega, every version of his weapons and armors are the improved version of everything exist before that, the city won't stand a chance but that trump card, there must be a way to control it. But right now, the c****x of the war begin, as the plan for our first attack on the city begin and this time, and it's time to bring down the tower and everything inside it. With everyone is armed and trained, it's time for every delusional fantasy to come to an end. The city divided their force to attack from two sides but this time we will bring downs four towers at the same time. The people of the haven isn't a proper army but everyone follow the lead because of the bond they share with each other.

"I will make sure everyone isn't harmed and we need to find a place to camp before deploy."

"Sampi, Delta, Theta, any place fit the description for a camp ?"

"The ruin of sector 2 fits the description but some cleaning up will be required."

"Can you give us further detail about these cleaning up ?"

"Someone using the ruin of sector 2, they are not large in number, should we try to negotiate ?"

"Yes, that would be great, doctor, can you go ahead and try to negotiate, you are one of the most influential person in this world after all."

The ruin of sector 2 or what left of it after every inhabitants left, a former shell of the most beautiful and peaceful place in the slum. Now, without its inhabitants the sign of ruin is visable, there is no one maintain those building so in the end, everything will crumble eventually. And in all of any places, we met them or at least what left of them - Harr Organization. 

"Well, remember when you were threaten our home. But well, not to dwell on the past, that is a bad behaviour, so you people use the ruin of sectors as your base ?"

"You still alive ?"

"It is rude to say that someone died to begin with when you didn't witness everything in the first place."

"Doctor... our leader want to discuss."

The leader of Harr, even when that organization doesn't any power their leader is still a man and a leader of what left of Harr. But compare to us, the Harr organization is nothing sitting in one room right now is the leader of the remnant of an organization and the most influential person in the slum. Even cornered, the man still show his pride and it is impressive, an admirable person but admirable doesn't serve any purpose for this conversation.

"My condolences to at least twenty members of your organization."

"So are you here to mock us ?"

"There is no point in mocking you people, what's past is past, what's gone is gone, why choose to pursue the past that covered in glory."

"Of course after what happened, the city doesn't want an organization that failed to finish the job so they throw us out. After living in the slum for nearly 3 months we learned our action in the past will bring consequence and this is the consequence for our action."

"In the end, even when this world on the brink of destruction people still chasing after frivolous luxury and they can throw away sympathy and compassion."

"And we appreciate the blue star, for guiding us and we found compassion."

"May i get the detail."

So the leader of Harr describe the encounter, the moment they are banished from the city, a voice appear in their head and they all heard the same voice. The voice is gentle and kind, it guided them to the ruin of sector 2 and disappear. It appear many times after that and every time it let them know that their old way of acting won't save them, the slum didn't know them because the star used its power to change their appearance. For now, they have to live like everyone else in the slum, because of their lack of compassion this is their punishment and what can they say to denide it ?

"Alright, i can understand some part of it. And i know your question and i will answer it. I am a herald of the blue star so i can your true form. That uniform, you never change from it. But now is the important question."

"Alright, ask us anyway."

"Are you still loyal to the city ? Are you chasing that frivolous luxury ? Are you still trying to restore your old position ? I know you are lying or not."

A word can decide the fate of twenty people, a word that brought meaning to everything. So tell me, your goal of the future, Harr organization for i am the herald of the blue star, i am here to judge your right.
