He threw over his shoulder to Tomas, “We sail to the island. You have command.” The man nodded, his grey eyes inscrutable as he watched Dane lead the girl to his cabin. Wilson sniggered, “I believe the captain will be teaching that bint a lesson or two.” “I wonder,” the wind whipped Tomas’ hair across his face, and he irritably brushed it aside. “I wonder.” Dane closed the cabin door behind him and locked it with his free hand. He supported Rhiannon with the other, and led her to the uncomfortable cot that served as his bed on these voyages. The men below were reduced to hammocks, so he did not complain
