I was aware of what was happening around me, but I couldn’t open my eyes. For three days since the rejection, I have been in this state. The more I struggled to open them. The further away I felt. It was an out of body experience. My body laid on the hospital bed, yet I was able to walk around my hospital room freely. Totally conscious of what was happening.
