CHAPTER TENLarry Haden Larry woke from his usual nightmare, his throat raw from gasping, Had he been yelling again? He never knew for certain, but there was nobody in his life, any longer, who could have told him. His quarters, being situated as they were in a garage apartment at the back of this estate he was caretaking temporarily, were too far from any of the distant neighbors for any shouting he might do to bother anyone.
