I woke up feeling like someone had punched me in the chest. My whole body jolted before my mind caught up, and I quickly opened my eyes, noticing a small female standing at the foot of my bed, scribbling something down. I groaned as I tried to sit up, and that was when her green eyes landed on me.
“Wow, easy there,” she said, moving around the bed to my right side.
“Who…” Sh*t. My voice sounded like I had smoked four packs of cigarettes and just come from a metal concert. What the hell happened to me?
“Here, drink some water,” she said, handing me a small glass with a straw.
