According to the data provided recently by the Fourth Division, the Arachnes which Kyle had encountered so far, were somewhat of a lower class compared to the monster in front of him.
Since the revolutionizing of the Fourth Division and the announcement of Project Orion, the Division had introduced a new method to accurately rank monsters which appeared from Portals. This was possible due to the invention of Fortitude reading devices by Star Labs.
Based on strength, threat and other factors such as possible damage a particular monster could cause, the Division was now able to differentiate between low level and powerful monsters. This was all summed up and termed as Fortitude.
