So you mean to tell me that it is unclear to you why my class was changed. I murmured playfully, glaring at Mrs. Thompson. She sighed and rested her chin on her hand, “yes, Bridget it is unclear to me why, and I would have told you about it, if you didn't rush out of here. I scowled at that and shrug, I thought you wanted to comment on how I looked. She grinned at that, “you look dead this morning, a walking dead, but now, she looked at me from my head to my toe, you look better”. I glared at her, which she smiled at me in return. Now hurry and fill your stomach because you need a hell of a lot of strength to deal with those kids” she muttered, shooing me away. I flipped my hair, well, Mrs. Thompson I definitely can handle my class. It's a piece of cake. “ I trust you can”, she shouted after me Bye! Catch you later. I yelled back! Bye Bridget. I hurriedly walked to the cafeteria, I needed to eat and also meet with Zach, or should I skip food? nah, who the hell says no to free food. As I neared the cafeteria, I heard a loud commotion. What the hell! Are there no teachers there? Oh my God! I muttered at the sight in front of me. Daniel was cramped up holding his leg crying and Zach was in his front glaring at him. The teachers were trying to stop Daniel from crying. What happened? I yelled in concern. “ It's all your fault, you will surely be fired” classless yelled at me, her face red with anger. I just got here, and how are they fighting my fault? I asked her with a low growl. She rolled her eyes, muttering about how I'm definitely going to be fired. I ignored her and turned to Zach, hey buddy, what happened. I muttered softly, he ignored me, glared at Daniel and walked off. Okay, this is not good. I turned to Lily, can you please take Daniel to the nurse, I need to check on Zach. Thank you. I said and hurried after Zach. ❤️❤️❤️ I found him in the garden, his tiny hands formed into a tiny fist, his face red with anger, he looked cute. I chuckled at that. I sat beside him on the bench, the warm sun casting a gentle glow over the garden. His eyes remained fixed on the flowers, his expression unreadable. I knew this was a familiar pattern with him—he wouldn't speak, even when I tried to engage him in conversation. I gently asked, Hey, what's going on? I saw you in the cafeteria earlier. You were in a fight, weren't you? He didn't respond, his gaze still directed at the flowers. I sighed inwardly, knowing I'd have to be patient. I'd grown accustomed to his silence during our garden meetings, but today I sensed something more beneath the surface. I know you're not one for talking much, I said softly, but sometimes it's helpful to share what's on your mind. Did something happen between you and Daniel? He shifted slightly, his eyes still focused on the flowers. I waited, hoping he might open up. After a few moments of silence, I continued, You know, I've noticed you're calm and calculated. You don't react to things that others say or do. Maybe you could tell me what he did that triggered you? His expression remained neutral, but I detected a faint flicker in his eyes. I pressed on, my voice soft and encouraging. It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. But know that I'm here for you, and I care about you, don't ever hesitate to call me if you need me. The silence between us stretched out, but I didn't push further. I simply stood up as I heard the bell, you can stay here if you want to be alone, okay? I placed a chocolate on the bench, And I passed him a soft smile and walked to class. ❤️❤️❤️ Hi Dad, I said softly as I pushed the door. He smiled widely and asked, “ how is my favorite daughter doing? I thought you had forgotten all about your old man. He grumbled with a pout. Oh, come on dad, I'm just 20 minutes late. He glared at me, and I glared at him back. We held eye contact for about 10 seconds before we burst out laughing. “ I can see serious bonding going on, I am so jealous” nurse Jessy mumbled as she rolled the cart in the room. I giggled, hi! I didn't see you when I came in. “ It's been a busy day, I came to give your dad his medicine before we get busy again” Okay, I replied with a smile. “ So, Bree, how was your day today, and I need details,” dad announced with a grin. I sighed and went on about how my class got changed, attack from classless, Daniel bullying Sara, and most importantly Zach fight with Daniel. “ So you mean to tell me he has never lost his cool before? Nurse Jessy asked, placing a grape in her mouth. Nah, according to Mr. Smith and Mrs. Thompson, he doesn't react. “ So Daniel would have said something that really pissed him off for him to react like that” dad added. I nodded and threw a grape in my mouth. My dad stared at my strangely, “you could be the curse of it” I rolled my eyes at him. Come on Dad, the kid barely say a word to me, and why would it be because of me, it could be his mother? I said in one breath. Dad and nurse Jessy nodded in agreement. “ Come on Bridget, time to go”, nurse Jessy announced with a smile. Bye dad, I kissed him on his head. “ Bye baby, see you tomorrow” he waved as his eyes fluttered. I chuckled and close the door. “ The doctor wants to see you” nurse Jessy whispered. I nodded, and headed to the doctor’s office.
