“It is so good to see you again, Mia,” Nora smiled at me warmly, although her face kind of reminds me of that fateful day.
“Nice to see you too,” I smiled back politely.
I was surprised slightly when Viktor allowed me to go out shopping. Of course not alone but even the slight taste of freedom felt warming. And I was glad to be out with Sammy, Dominic, Nora and Christian.
As we reached the mall, I noticed an eerie atmosphere. All the shops were open with shopkeepers but there wasn’t a single person in the mall. Like, it was completely empty.
“Why is it so empty?” I asked Dominic.
“This is one of the malls we own, Mia. So, Viktor ordered it to be evacuated just to be safe for you all,” he stated.
