Mike pov

I was sitting on the roof with my three besties.justin,Linda and Miranda . Justin and Linda are dating they were luck enough they were each other's mate by the time they clocked sixteen a three years ago or we all don't wanna see the end of it.

Miranda is my crush .she is an alpha and have had a crush since like forever. She is very kind and always protects me everytime.i decided I didn't want to go to the mating ball because I didn't want Miranda to find her mate.i know I might look selfish but I have always dreamed for us to be mate but now that I found out we are not mate maybe we could just be choose mate.

We left the roof with Miranda tugging me behind her.miranda kept on insisting she wanted to find her mate.so now am here in the packs kitchen far away from the party .while Miranda goes out to find her mate and am stuck with Justin and Linda engrossed with staring at themselves.for god's sake we are only nineteen who wants to get committed that fast well I hope she doesn't find her mate.i made an annoying face at just and Linda then finally decided to look for Miranda and see what she is up to. I saw my brother Kai talking with some guest I guess that's what he should do as the next alpha.i decided to sneak to the other side of the party where I didn't want to be recognized and introduced like a puppet to other people.i heard someone giggling .the sound sounded familiar.i was right the person was no other than Miranda.she was hugging a male couldn't see because he had his face at the crook of her neck. The i***t wanted to mark her. My worst nightmare were coming true in a span of thirty minutes.
