Your intellect may be confused, but your emotion will never lie to you. -Good Morning Quote- Draco entered his room and saw Faye on the bed, sleeping innocently like a babe while hugging a pillow with her chin supported by the top of it. Seeing her on his bed made him want to crawl and be the pillow that she hugs. Unable to resist it anymore, he did lie down beside her and kissed her lips. As he felt her awakened state, he deepened the kiss. Faye touching his face made him stopped to cup her face in both his hands. It was then Faye opened her eyes. "My love, are you fully awake now?" he asked. "Yes, I am," Faye answered him. Embarrassment made her pushed him gently on the side to get up. "Have you waited a long time for me to wake up?" she asked him, trying to sound unaffected by the kiss that awakens her. "No, I come back just now." Faye heard Draco rising from the bed as he answers her. She then turned around only to see his back on her as he walked out of the bedroom. Atticus walked out to the sitting area separated in the bedroom by a curtain. It is to get the snacks from the small table that he had asked Guilder to bring here. He then carries the tray back to the bedroom. Faye is already sitting in the middle of the bed with a pillow on her lap. "My love, eat your snack." He said while balancing the tray on his one arm as he removed the pillow on her lap with his other hand. "I am not hungry yet. I will eat later on," Faye told him as she took the tray from his hands and then put the food on the side table. As soon as she had laid down the tray on the table, he then took her hand. "I will be going on a mission," he told her as soon as noticing how she looked at him as if questioning his behavior. "While I am not here, stay, and sleep here at night. Did you bring with you the pendant that I gave you before?" Faye nods while looking at him, and then she removed it from her pocket and showed it to him. "Good, bring it always with you so you can leave and come back using it. Everything that you will need, write it all in the scrolls. I will give it to Guilder so he can get it for you," he told her while he holds her chin and just looked at her eyes. As soon as he felt tempted to kiss her, he released her. He then walked to the side table, open its drawer, get a scroll and the reed pen and then return to her side. "Here, write all that you require there, and tomorrow Guilder will deliver it here." Faye is hesitant to write what she needs, but because she already knows that Draco has a persistent personality and insisting on what she wants will only cause disagreement or delay his departure until she bends on what he desired. She took the scroll and then the reed pen. She wrote those things she needed in the market, and then she handed it to him, in which he keeps it magically. Draco then bend on his knees, hugged her, and whispered in her ear, "I'm going to miss you," then she felt him releasing her for a brief moment as he immediately took her hands and held it. His action made her looked at him. It was then she heard him say, "Faye, I have something for you to think about while I am not around..." The seriousness in his voice made her widen her eyes, anticipating what it will be. "Let it not be anything that will give her a problem," she prayed silently without removing her gaze from him. His taking a deep breath made her nervous. "I love you...and I hope that you will have an answer to what you feel towards me when I come back." Though she had expected that he would say something about his feelings, it never entered her mind that it will make her speechless. Draco's kissing her hands and hugging as if he doesn't want to let her go, let her realized the seriousness of what he felt towards her. She can only grip the mattress, as she knows how this can significantly impact both of their lives. His brushing her hair with his hand once he let her out of his embrace made her look at him, and it was then she felt him tilt her chin and kissed her, like a soft caress that ended immediately. "I hate to leave you now, and every step I will take away from you is a burden for me, but I must. Take care while I am not around." She nods her head and then said, "You too, take care." She wanted to say more, but she doesn't know what to say. She is still confused about her feelings, but the one thing she is sure of at this moment, "to see Draco go brought a clogging on her throat as she tried to suppress the intense emotions she felt of him leaving her. " Faye felt him touching her face once more, and then he was gone, leaving her sniffing. After a few moments, she lays down on the pillow and let her emotion be free. Sarcadean Mountain Prince Atticus arrived at the cave entrance in Sarcadean Mountain with only his two guards minus Guilder. He left him behind to take care of his precious one. A male deity came out of the opening, and upon seeing who came, he curtsied. After the recipient acknowledged his obeisance, he showed them the way inside. The fusty air from the inside of the chamber confronted them. The male deity ushered Prince Atticus and his guards inward. Torch magically lighted as they passed by, and the dimmed cave brightens up. They felt the cold and damp climate that touched their skin and heard the constant dripping of water from the cave ceiling as they go further. Then, they reached the enormous chamber that became the sanctuary of the two giant monsters that almost destroyed the entirety. Encased in a crystal-like stone, both of them look fully cognizant of those who come in. Prince Atticus remembered what his grandfather told him when those beasts were full of life. He said they were enormous and powerful, and are difficult to subdue. It was only when the King of Camdenland aided them by offering their precious ancestral stone combined with an incantation, a crystal so tiny expanded to accommodate the monsters, that it sucked and locked them inside. Prince Atticus looked closer and saw an impact crack under the lion beast's feet as if it had kicked it. Next, he went to the other one, a winged spider with two heads, a human and a snake. He had seen that everything is intact, but he noticed something unusual when he looked up, and his eyes were in contact with that of the human head. It seems like it has a breath of life. He decided to address first the apparent problem, which is the break-in their encasement. He walked back in front of the beast and then commanded his two guards and the deity to turn their backs. He then meditated and started raising his hands, palm facing each other without touching, and then rotated both of his hands slower at first, and gradually he increases his movements. A white light came out of his actions, and then he pointed both hands to the cracks. Once the white light touches the crystal, it turned into a red flame that melts the crystal and repairs it bit by bit. Stockroom of Kosher Palace "Faye, you are here already," Lara acknowledged her presence when she saw her standing near the table and reading a scroll. "Yes, I came early." Lara walked near her to put the flower she brought in the vase, "by the way, when you were not here, Princess Isabel and Lady Cassie came. They were searching for the ebony-haired female deity that went to the Masquerade event," she told her and then touches her skin, shivers and continues, "I got chills in the way Princess Isabela check me out. We also heard Lady Cassie told Mistress Bethesda to bring you to Opal Hall once you come back to work." "Oh! I was just gone for two days, and then so much had happened. Do you know what their reason for looking for that specific deity?" "No, they never mentioned it." "Hmm...Okay, "Faye then turned her back on Lara. She went to the boxes of precious stones, but the information she just received made her wonder why the query. "Surely, she was not the only deity with those descriptions present in the masquerade." Faye shrugged off her worries and started sorting out the precious stones. Audrey and Audra came; they greeted Lara, and when they saw her, they both went to her side. "How was your day off?" Audra asked. "It was okay," she answered while looking at Lara, who by now is sorting out the jewelry, "I sent Lara's letter after I sent mine." She finally remembers to tell Lara, who immediately thank her. If they know that it was Draco who did it, she is not sure what they will think of her, engaged to another one but getting closer to another male deity who is not her fiance. "Do you know already about the time that Princess Isabela and Lady Cassie came here?" Audrey asked her. "I told her already, "Lara answer before she can. "I don't know the reason why they are looking for that ebony haired girl, but the one thing I'm sure, "Audrey looked her before continuing, "once they see you, no matter you are that girl or not, the guilt will full on you." "Why will it be with me?" "Because of your face, they will find a way to punish you, believe me," Audrey warned her. "It's my face again?" Faye touched it and then thought that if it is the reason, she must find a way for them not to see her appearance. She thought of what she can use to conceal her face. Musing while separating the precious stones, suddenly an idea comes into her mind. "Ah! I know it!" she said aloud, and that made them all turned to look at her. "What is it?" Audrey asked. "Have you seen any ragweed here?" Faye remembered her mother told her, a few days after she was born, the heads of the clan of deities responsible for all kinds of living things in their Kingdom blessed her and acknowledged her as their princess. Except for the one responsible for the ragweed. She gave birth to her child at the time. The weeds head also gathered all the blessings she will bring to bless her at that time. She was the only one who could not give her; hence, she has no immunity with the ragweed. Her magic prevented her from reacting to it once she encounters one, but the Purifying Lake made her magic disappear, and her way to be resistant to it was gone. Audrey answered, "Yes! I saw one in the garden near the stockroom, where all the species of flowers and plants." "How can I go there?" Faye asked. "What do you want to do there?" Lara asked. "Well, when I touch it, my face became swollen immediately." "That is a good idea; they will not know you anymore," Audra added, and then walked towards her to touch her face, "hmm...a pity to this face." "Your idea is good, Faye," Audrey said, and then she continues, "I will accompany you to find it, so we better go now." Then Lara asked, "Do you have a remedy for it with you?" "Yes, I do have because it is a known fact that upon passing the Purifying Lake, it will strip our magic, so I carried the pills to cure it in case I encountered one." Lara sighs and then said, "I am comforted to hear that, as it will be a sad thing to see any scar in that flawless skin." Faye left what she was arranging and then asked Audra to go with her after Lara allowed her to go to the garden. Before they walked to the door, Lara gave them the list of things they need to get back from the central stockroom. It was in that position that Mistress Bethesda came in. "Where are you going, Faye?" They all turned their head to Mistress Bethesda and greets her, and then Faye answered, "Audrey and I are going to the main stockroom to get some things." "You know that you are not allowed to go out of the Kosher Palace stockroom?" "Yes, I know that," Faye then lowered her head. " How can she forget about that? Though thankful that she could not encounter any schemes against her until now, she could not see the Crown Prince and be closer to him because of being secluded inside this room. So here she is now stuck with his guard, but she has no regrets." Mistress Bethesda let out a deep sigh and then continues, "I came here to tell you to come with me to the Opal hall. Lady Cassie wants to see you."
