Theo “Can I get anything else for you mother?” I ask as I help her into her bed. She was finally discharged from the hospital after Lola was able to work her magic – literally. “No thank you sweetheart. I think I just need to rest.” She replies while patting the bed next to her. I take her hint and plant myself next to her. “What’s on your mind? You seem a little off lately.” I shake my head. “It’s nothing for you to worry about mother.” She tsks at me. “I may be sick but I’m still your mother. It doesn’t matter how old you get, I’ll always worry about you. Now spill the beans Theodore.” She very rarely uses my full name so I know she means business. I humph. “Well, I’ve just been thinking lately that I want to do something special for Lola but I can’t think of a way to go about it.”
