Theo Today is the day. I have meticulously and thoroughly planned the trip to Venice with Lola and she has absolutely no idea. I am so grateful her parents have kept it a secret from her and I can’t wait to see her face when she realises where we are going. My bag is packed and I place it in my car before heading over to the Altobello residence with my mother and Dante. “Make sure you take care of Lola on your trip Theo.” My mother tries to lecture me, as if I wouldn’t take care of my girl regardless of where we are. “Drive safely and be vigilant.” “Vigilant of what, mother?
