The world around them seemed unreal. The air shimmered with residual silver light, the scent of ozone and molten energy lingering like a heavy fog. Lykos and Aria emerged from the fractured heart of the Moon Well into the familiar forest of the pack’s territory, though nothing felt familiar anymore. The trees swayed gently, but their leaves shimmered faintly in silver, echoing the fragment’s lingering energy.
Aria staggered slightly, her hand still clinging to Lykos’s. “We… we made it,” she whispered, voice trembling. Silver light from her aura radiated faintly now, less wild than in the Moon Well but still vibrant, almost alive. “The fragment… it’s anchored… truly. And… we’re… together.”
