VISITING AT HOME

Later that evening ,

Sophia was making homemade cookies for Edward who's sick . She was in the kitchen now along with her Grandma packing the cookies . At this time her Mom arrives at home . She sat in the sofa in the living room and called out '' someone please give me a glass of juice , i am so much thirsty '' .

'' I think your Mom has arrived go give her the juice '' Her Grandma tells . Sophia nods and fetches the glass and pours juice onto it . After filling it up she heads towards the living room . '' Here you go Mom '' Sophia says handing the glass over to her mother .

'' Thanks i really needed that '' her Mom says drinking it . '' Do you need something else ?'' Sophia asks . '' No i don't need anything else , you can go now '' her Mom replies . '' You said that you will come back before lunch were you cooped up with work ?'' Sophia asked reluctantly .

Her Mom put the glass down . '' Do i have to give every detailed report about to where i will go with whom i will go and everything huh ?'' her Mom threw the glass onto the floor and it broke the broken pieces shattering everywhere .

'' What happened ? what's all the noise about ?' Grandma asks rushing at the scene hearing all that noise . '' Such a useless , rude girl '' her Mom remarks before leaving . '' What happened Sophia ? how did the glass broke ? '' her Grandma asks .

'' She broke it on purpose , just because just because ..... i asked why she didn't came in the afternoon '' Sophia replies , her voice as if it was cracking up . '' Poor girl , i am so sorry that she treated you like that '' her Grandma says cupping Sophia's face with hr hands .

'' It's alright , i am used to her bad treatment towards me in the first place , only Samuel matters to her nothing matters '' Sophia remarks . '' What a cruel womann she is , you are just like her own daughter '' Grandma protests .

'' She sometimes behave good with me and bad with me sometimes i don't mind i am used to it '' SOphia says half smiling . '' Poor child , anyway i will clean it , you go get ready to go '' says her Grandma .

'' Will you be alright cleaning everything by yourself ?'' Sophia asks .'' Yes ,i will be now you go and dress up prettily '' her Grandma says . '' Sure '' she replies . George also arrives at that instant . '' I am home '' he remarks .

'' Mom , give me something to eat , i am going to take a shower '' he remarks . '' Get freshen up then ' ' Grandma comments . George heads upstairs . Sophia heads upstairs she was going towards her room . When she was walking past the hallway . She had to pass by both her Uncle's room and her parents room . Her MoM and Dad both have separate rooms .

While she was passing by her Mom' s room she heard someone groaning . A mixture of muffling and moaning sounds and someone talking . '' Is Dad there ? but i think he went somewhere and will come back later at night ''' she thoughts .

She couldn't understand what was happening there . She tried to hear but she couldn't hear anything after that . So she gave up listening and went towards her room getting ready to go to Edwards place . She wore one blue shirt along with black skirt and a little bit of heel also one coat and scarf over her neck and changes boots to heels .

Doing her hair she heads downstairs . On the way she bumps into her uncle . 'He was wearing nothing and only had his pants on and towel in his hand . '' What are you doing here in Mom's room like this ?'' she asks demanding an answer from her Uncle .

'' The shower in my room wasn't working so i asked your mom to let me us her bathroom thats' all '' he replies sternly . ''' I see ,well you could have used Dad's bathroom , anyway your food is downstairs go eat it '' she remarks .

'' Where is Mom by the way ?'' she asks . Her Uncle says palpitating '' she's not in this room in my room cause i am using it now '' he replies . '' I got it , am leaving now '' she says before leaving .

'' You going somewhere ?'' he asks from behind her . '' Yes to visit a friend of mine '' says Sophia . Right after that , her Mom pulls her Uncle into the room . Sophia comes downstairs . '' Granny , i am leaving ''she says before leaving . '' Watch out for cars and stay careful '' says her Granny.

Sophia nods and heads towards her room . She thought about taking the car but she wanted to take a stroll so , she went by foot . The streets of the city was so spacious and neat and quiet . The evening sky and the twilight hour . By the time she reached the lane it was around evening but the sky is dark .

'' She called Edward '' . He picked up . '' Where should i go now i reached the lane ''she asked while walking . '' Go near the narrow alley you can see a four storied building '' says Edward . '' Alright i will call you then '' she replies after hanging up .

'' See you soon then '' he says . When she crossed by the narrow alley she felt quite chilly she halted near the entrance of the alley . Shivering and chilling atmosphere . '' Guess i wore too much less clothes so i feel chilly or something '' she assures herself .

Right at the moment she hears the dogs barking . '' Hey , why are you shouting ? '' she asks being frightened . Sophia has always been afraid of dogs . Two and three dogs gathered around her barking and barking .

'' Hey , go away , how should i chase them away ?'' she thoughts to herself . She calls Edward without thinking . '' Please pick up '' she prayes with all her heart . He picked up . '' Please save me dogs are barking at me , please i am the alley '' she shouts .

'' Don't worry , i am coming don't you worry '' he replies . The dogs started barking loudly . One of them was about to approach her in order to bite . Right at that moment came Edward . He threw one stone at the dog who was about to bite her and the dog fell down .

'' Sophia , are you alright ?'' asked Edward . '' Yes , i'm it was about to bite me '' Sophia says hugging onto Edwards body and clutching it closely to her heart . Her fragile body was trembling . '' Don't you worry i am here nothing will happen to you , i will protect you '' he comforts her .

He threw some more stones and the dogs have went away from him . Edward pats her head . ''' It's alright now you can open your eyes now '' he comforts her . She leaves his body slowly . '' I am just so much afrad of dogs you know and the way it wa going to attack me i got so much afrad '' she remarks .

'' I know you are afraid of dogs '' he remarks . '' How do you know that ?'' she asked . ''' Ah... the way you called during the call i could tell that you were afraid of dogs , anyway shall we go now '' he said escorting her .

Sophia nodded . '' Cani hold onto your hand for a while ?'' she whispered quietly . '' Yes , you can i don't mind '' he replies . She loved the warmth coming from his body . She looked back at the dog , it got up and had went away .

They reached the front of the building . '' This entire building is my home '' he remarks . '' You live in quite luxury '' Sophia exclaims in wonder . '' Well nothing compared to your huge castle like mansion '' he remarks .

'' Anyhow , come in '' he says . '' Sure '' she replies . They both head inside . They go by elevator . Then reached the fourth floor where is Edward's room . '' This is so much spacious . Do you live here all alone ?'' she asks in wonder .

'' Yes , i live here all alone cause my father lives in the other city so i have to live by myself here '' he replies . '' Its nothing compared to our house where there are many people '' says Sophia .

'' Before .... ''' Edward was about to say something he paused in the midway .'' Were you about to say something ?'' she asked . '' Ah.. nope it's nothing '' he replies . '' Sit down '' he says . '' First take these i made these myself '' she says handing the bag of cookies over to him .

'' Handmade by yourself ... i will definitely eat these '' he exclaims . '' I will bring something for you to eat '' he says going towards his kitchen . '' I will help you '' she says . '' o you are my guest today you can't do any work '' he replies .

'' Alright then , '' she sits down onto the sofa . Turns on the tv . She started watching a movie . Meanwhile , Edward came in his tray hot chocolate along with muffins . '' Here , eat up '' he says handing one cup over to her .

'' This will warm you up '' he remarks sitting down along with her . '' You really know how to please people , i really love muffins you know '' she exclaims . '' I am glad that you liked it '' he remarks .

'' Hey this movie seems good , what kind of a movie is it ?'' she asks him . '' This is a horror movie '' he replies taking one sip of hot chocolate . '' Horror '' she mutters and clutches onto Edwards sleeves right at that instant .

'' You can't handle horror shows too ? '' he asks . '' No i don't '' she replies with puppy like look on her face . '' So adorable turn off the tv we can talk for a while '' says Edward . Sophia nods and turns off the tv .

'' So how's everything going at home ?'' he asks . '' It's pretty much hectic after Samuel's death all the people have changed Mom , Dad and everyone , all have nothing but hatred for each other '' she replies .

'' Why did something happen ? you seem kinda down lately '' he remarks . '' The thing is .... '' she tells him about everything that has happened lately and her mom's rude behaviour with her daughter each and everything .

After hearing about everything Edward says ''' i see , your uncle seems suspicious to you ?'' . '' He do seem suspicious cause of his every action '' she replies . '' Well you can't accuse him without any proof so '' he tells .

'' I am trying to gather proof , tomorrow the police will interrogate me about that night '' says she . '' The cops , they came by my house today , i told them everything that has happened that dad '' he replies .

'' Is this true ? what else did he ask ?'' she asks . ''' He asked about my relationship with you '' he says . '' Then what did you replied ?'' she asks . '' I replied that you are my only friend nothin more nothing else '' says he .

'' You did all of these so that they won't suspect me ?'' she asks . '' Yup '' he replies . '' Thank you very much Edward '' she replies hanging onto his body. '' Its okay it's my duty to save you right ?'' he says '' as a boyfriend '' .

'' I love you '' she said . '' Me too more than ever '' he replies . They both were mesmerized in each others gaze and locked lips finally . Sophia locked his neck with both of her hands and brought their bodies closer .

They parted for air after one minute . '' You will become sick like this you know ?'' he asked . '' I don't care if i am sick , i want to be sick if it's you '' she said locking their lips again . They both fell down ont the sofa .

With Sophia on top . '' Hey , what are you planning ?'' he asks beneath her . '' Whatever you want '' she says with a smirk . '' We haven't married yet , are you sure we can do this '?'' he asks .

'' Well , i have told Granny that i will be late but i can't be too much late so will have to put up with these only '' she says and kisses him again . Tongues overlapping each other a thin thread of saliva between their lips . Both panting for breath .

''You know you have raised my temperature too much '' he remarks setting her aside . '' Its fine once in a while ,'' she says getting up . '' So what's your plan for tomorrow? it's finally new years eve '' she asked with a sigh .

'' Stay at home and enjoy myself or go to Harris place to party '' he replies . '' You are going to a party too ? then why do you seem so much unhappy about it ? '' he asks her . '' Cause , i feel sad without you , whenever i am around you i feel calm and at peace '' she replies with a smile .

'' It's okay we can meet in college after new year right ?'' he says . '' Yeah but '' she mutters . '' Or you can come over whenever you have time '' he remarks . '' Can i ?'' she asks . '' Of course you can just be careful of the dogs and call me before coming '' he replies .

'' Roger captain '' she replies . '' Don't you have to go home ? it's quite late eight past thirty now '' he says looking at the clock . '' You are right i should head home '' she remarks . '' See you again then '' she hugs him .

'' Yeah , see you again tell me what the cop will ask you tomorrow ''' says he . '' Let me accompany you near the entrance '' he said wearing his coat . They both head downstairs using the elevator .

'' I can go now '' Sophia said . '' You sure ?'' he asks looking here and there . '' Yes '' she replies . SHE heads on her own . Edward went inside too .
