I have been surprised numerous times in my life, like when my father called me at work, informing me of Lauren's accident. Like when I found out my father's secret regarding another family, and my new sisters. But those were all possibilities, and yet somewhat expected.
I knew that one day everyone would eventually pass, which doesn't make any of it easier, but yet I knew that.
Growing up, my father was never around and cheating really wasn't all that surprising.
But having a baby? This was definitely not in my cards.
I glanced over to Cameron, but he still hasn't breathed yet. His face was turning slightly redder as the minutes ticked by. Personally, the information just doesn't register in my mind. He made a mistake; that's the only explanation.
