The next day I was in shock. Complete shock. Kade has been distant since yesterday and the kiss we shared which was still in my head, it seemed as if it never happened. It doesn't mean anything. I reminded myself or at least tried. But why do I get the feeling there is something more to the story. Perhaps something happened? I don't know what is wrong with him but something is up. I did try to make conversation with him but it just ended in a second. We didn't do much today except collecting some wood so we can start a fire in the evening. Marie asked Kade to go get some more wood and I decided to help out, but more like attack Kade with a bunch of questions.
"So what happened?" I asked.
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean, you've been quiet the whole day, is everything okay?"
