When I woke up, I had a major headache, as if something hit me on my head continuously and nonstop.
"She's awake," someone said and I sat up.
"Slowly miss, you can black out again," the voice said and placed his or her hands on my shoulders, slowly rising me up. I groaned and massaged my head as the memories of what happened came flooding back.
"How long was I out?" I asked.
"Only a couple of hours," the voice that sounded like it belonged to a female said.
"Well that's a relief," I said waiting for my eyes to adjust to the brightness and once it did, Maya's face came into view as well as the school nurse.
"Hey," I said with a sly grin.
