Before long, her father returned followed by two familiar faces of Kolvar and Hammon. They were in uniform of the kingdom’s colors, looking professional and war worthy.
Both bowing at the same time towards her, Kolvar stepped forward first, “Your Grace.”
“Your Grace.” Hammon followed after Kolvar.
“Thank you for coming.” She watched as they came to stand before her and she looked between them, “I have a few things I wish to discuss with each of you.” She looked to Thorin, as if looking for confirmation to what she was about to do was okay, and when he gave her a reassuring look despite not knowing the details, “As you witnessed first hand, Thorin’s pack was devastated by the invasion and is lacking in protection. We were wondering if you had any suggestions as to how to improve this.”
