KIARA'S POV
I woke up feeling so happy and more better than I had been in the last few weeks.I smiled to myself, feeling strangely peaceful.
Last night had been perfect. For once, there had been no visions, no fear, no thoughts about the coven or hidden enemies. There had only been Kael.
Still smiling, I reached across the bed.Only to find it empty.
"Kael?"
No answer,Slowly sitting up, I looked around the room….Nothing.The bathroom door was open and empty.My smile disappeared.
"Kael?"
Had he already gone ?The thought made me pout.
Not that I blamed him. He was Alpha after all, and with two sons and an entire pack depending on him, he couldn't spend all day in bed with me no matter how much I wanted him to.
