Lucas’s POV
“You were stunning tonight.”
Elana is standing in front of the mirror, pulling out the pins in her hair and I stop her by placing a hand on hers.
“Let me do that.”
Slowly, I pull the pins out of her hair one by one and watch as the soft curls fall down her back.
“You were not too bad yourself.”
“I basically just stood there while you did all the work. Tomorrow they will be counting in all the donations, but I already know it will be more than we were able to collect in the last three years combined.”
