Em POV He Knows

I looked at him in shock. No he can't do this, I won't let him do this to me. If, this is his idea of falling in love then he's wrong. I'll never love him, not like this, not ever. I can't let him make decisions for me. He says that I belong to him. I won't and I'll never ever belong to him, I belong to no one but myself.

He looks at me and says " I have decided that based on what you attempted to do a few hours ago you will no longer be alone ever. If you go anywhere you WILL have someone with you at all times. I'm also assigning a personal bodyguard for you to not only protect you from others that may attempt to harm you. But, to also protect you from harming yourself ". Red that's all I see. I shoot up and yell at him "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME". He looks at me and replied "I can and I will".

Next thing I know he's pinned me to the bed and says "I need to know what has you so terrified". I look at him and ask "What's that supposed to mean?". He looks at me with sadness and sympathy and asked "Who's Lyle? Why are you so terrified of him?". I freeze and refused to look at him. I can't think, I can't breathe, I think I'm having a panic attack. He holds me to his chest gently and says while running his hand through my hair to calm me down "Shhhh, Shhhh, I'm here, I'm here " And, Before I knew it, it all goes black.

Eliott POV

I catch her just as her eyes roll into the back of her head and she collapses on me, again.

I don't understand, why would someone do this to someone like her. How could she have someone who wanted her dead all because she saw something she shouldn't have seen. What is that important that they want her dead and have been trying to find her to kill her? There's something more than she is letting on. I have to find out what she is hiding from me. What has you so terrified that you won't let me in to help you?

I love you, please just let me in. I place her on the bed and sit in the chair by her bed and wait for her to wake up. She eventually does and what she tells me is not what I was expecting to hear from her.
